... lots of stereos but never done a bluetooth adapter like this on a stock system
I've installed lots of stereos but never done a bluetooth adapter like this on a stock system. It was super simple to plug in, despite the Engrish instructions. But there was lots of static and background noise, it sounded like a cassette, not a CD as advertised. And when I went to use the bluetooth the microphone didn't work at all, both on outgoing or incoming calls, my wife couldn't hear me talking at all. The crappy $67 Boss DVD player head unit in my 2000 Odyssey worked and sounded better then this. Sometimes you win with these cheap Chinese electronics, but this was a loss. I'm returning it and I'll spend a little more for something that works.

pretty slick
Put this in my 2007 Acura TSX. The car has blue tooth for phone (who talks on a phone these days?) but no audio streaming capability. This magic box was easy to install, it just replaces the Satellite Radio (no loss there) via the satellite radio connector. Crazy how simple it is to install, syncs up with my iPhone 6 easy. The steering wheel controls works (track up/down, volume). The USB doesn't seem to work to play music with a lightning cable into the iPhone (like it does on the Fords), maybe it works on the iPods?. Comes with a single input for 3.5mm, it seems it can be used as either audio or microphone for hands free. I have not tested the 3.5mm headphone jack. The documentation was translated by someone without spell check, as is typical with these products (Installtion in bold, must mean "Installation"). Generally the documentation is useless (talks about dip switches that don't exist, doesn't even list Acuras in product compatibility, etc). You will need the pin for the Bluetooth though. Not sure if it's the same for everyone but mine was 9088.

2005 Acura TSX
Installed it in my 2005 TSX. Sounds great. Only issue I have is the pitch distortion when I first begin to play a song, but it goes away after the first 15 secs.

It works great with my 2004 TSX
It works great with my 2004 TSX , sound quality it good but could be better. Over all quality build is cheap, it's mostly plastic and it tends to get hot quickly. The mic that came with it, dont work.... Would I recommend this item.... No not for this price.

JDM!
This thing is awesome!!! Easy to install! I just cut my hand when unplugging the XM connection! Now I don't have to worry about buying an aftermarket radio!
