Nothing special about this. It holds the door open. Not particularly sturdy and not particularly cool looking, though it's fine. For me, I'd say you might as well just get a regular rubber doorstopper. Except that you can only get 6-packs of the regular ones on Amazon, and the 6-packs cost about the same as this. So if, like me, you only have one office door that needs to be propped open, and you are too lazy to go to an actual store and buy a rubber stopper, then I guess you could go either way--six regular doorstops (5 of which never get used) or one of these--and be fine.

I actually got these to prop up some bookshelf speakers so they'd be angled down as the speakers on shelves above my head. The rubber grips nicely, and the metal hoop is an added touch. They are smaller than I expected, but this is not a bad thing. They are doing what I need them to do. I've not tested them on a door but the rubber grips well enough, I imagine they work well. One thing to be wary of, the rubber does not seem to be glued to the wood, but a loop, so there is the possibility the loops could come off. HOWEVER, if they break at least you know you can replace them somehow.

Finally found doorstops that work well for our entry doors. We have tile by the front door & laminate by the garage entry door, so there's a fairly subtantial gap between the floor & those doors. Usually shoved a slipper or shoe underneath to hold them open. It gets very windy where we live (on top of a hill), so we often need something strong to keep the doors from slamming shut. These stoppers did the trick!

My husband had an old door stopper that was wood only, but would slide and would not keep the door open. I ordered four as a surprise to have at various doors in the house (doors that we would either want to keep open for moving/taking items/boxes in the house, doors that we didn't want the wind to shut at night and a door that tends to shut on its own where we like to have airflow). These definitely do the job and look nice as well. My husband was very pleased!

Small and petite and nicely made.I wanted a door stopper really to prevent my door from hitting a mirror I have set up behind it. This does the job as the rubber does not make the stopper move back and it stays in place when you close the door. It also looks pretty nice too.

Very nice and unique product! Please note: If you have small children, they will become obsessed with this cool looking door stopper. Every time I turn around, my son has removed the stopper from underneath the door and begins assimilating that it is a toy car.

This might work well for domestic, light doors; however after 2 minutes holding a commercial steel door the rubber band snapped. It is also much smaller than it appears.

This device has saved me from so many wall repairs as my 150# Great Dane crashes around the house.
