Does the blade lock in place

Yes it does have lock Blade (Locked open so it doesn't close on you), very well made and heavy sturdy knife. I gave away as thank you gifts to our county and city Police and they love them. I would definitely get more of these and i bought a total of a 100 they are really nice and cannot beat the price

Don't know what kind of steel it's made from, but I do know it's strong, steady and handles well.

Does it come with any warranty? For parts for example

Not that I know of, it does however open while it’s in your pocket and stab you in the thigh.. this is not a good knife if you were going to carry on duty.
