Hudson's Bay 350th Anniversary Limited Edition Sterling 8 Point Blanket 100% Wool King Size

I have always wanted a Hudson blanket--there are not many products that have been made by the same company for 100s of years. Yessiree I know this costs the same as a used car in the 80s, but the quality is just so far beyond the average blanket. Note that the "white" part of this 350th Anniversary blanket is a distinguished pale grey--not the bright ivory of the multi-colored standard Hudson Bay blanket. I prefer the grey. There is no compromise in quality here at all. This blanket is jaw-dropping. The weight is mid-to-heavy, I think the king weighs 10 pounds. You can see a faint herringbone pattern, but the nap is loose. I hope this helps. I know not everyone will have the money for this, but while it feels odd saying it, this is a good value.
