I wasn't paying attention after combing through page after page of trinket dishes, so I did not realize the perpetually smile-worthy little dish is made of glass. Since I use it in my tile-floored bathroom, I'm extra careful with it.My partner first saw it before putting in his contacts and thought there were bugs on the counter between the sinks. The ostrich eyes are big, dark, and irresistible, don't look anything like bugs, but we did have fun with that.If you are looking for whimsy, this little dish is a perfect choice. It does the job I bought it for, and I would be sad if it broke. As a matter of fact, I'm looking at redoing my bathroom colors to go with it.
