Very soft blanket and light. Fits great on my queen size bed. Husband can't say now that he does not have no blanket because it hangs to the frame of bed on both sides. Longer then store bought blankets. Just hope it does not make me sweat or my husband sweat in bed tonight. Hopefully cats can't snag this blanket up.

Accuracy of description: The description of this blanket is accurate. Its machine washable, 100% polyester, and measures 90 by 90 inches. It also does have the silk lining all the way around it.Opinion: I love this blanket. I use it even when it is really hot in the bedroom just because it is so soft and comfy. My cut off limit for using it is 88 degrees in the bedroom, but I think that would be the same for almost anyone. I need to feel weight from a blanket to sleep comfortable, and this has a nice weight without adding a lot of heat. We live in Arizona so a lighter blanket is required. Make sure you wash it however because it will have lint coming off of it.Usefulness: Useful if you need a blanket to sleep.Pros: It stays on even with the fan blowing and the silk feels nice against your face. I will be getting another one of these if anything ever happens to my old one. I would like an extra one however just in case we have company too.Cons: Needs to be washed. Not much of a con I know but we live in an apartment and it’s hard to get to a laundry mat.Recommend to a friend: I would recommend it to a friend, and maybe gift to a friend who loves blankets.

Nice blanket. The satin on the ends of the blanket are not as soft and silky as I needed.

I received the True North blanket, along with another one, a couple days ago. I washed and dried both blankets today. The True North is soft and seems like it will be good as an accompaniment to the other blanket purchased or by itself during the warm months of the year. It should be a good blanket.

I bought this for my fiancé. He has had a blanket since a little boy that is just like it and had to have the silk on the sides. I have been trying to get him to part with his other blanket because it is so dingy and worn out with holes. He’s keeping it but for a keepsake, after buying him this one he is SO happy because he was afraid we wouldn’t ever be able to find one like it!

I ordered these True North Queen size blankets looking for a nice warm, heavier fleece. I did my due diligence to check the weight as I was looking for a thicker fleece. The Amazon item specs say that the queen size blanket weighs 3.34 pounds. I was truly disappointed upon getting the blankets. They are extremely thin. Each queen size blanket only weighed 2.10 pounds, and that is WITH the packaging! Other than that, the blanket appeared ok, if that is what you are looking for

Not very good for winter months, is soft, would have preferred something a little heavier, and not so stretchy.

Blanket is light weight seems like good quality fleece. The satin border is not silky feeling though which was disappointing as it was the main reason i purchased it.
