I received this with an expiration date of 1 month ...
I received this with an expiration date of 1 month left on the shelf life. Did not expect that and I know this will not be used by that time line. I will not re order again.

Clove oil's always been used for toothache for years. Because it works.This gel, which is mainly clove oil - plus the stuff to make it gel - works even better. Simply because you can smear it on the tooth and it tends to stick, knocking the complaining nerves out in seconds (less than 120, in fact).It's meant to be used on teeth not gums, cheeks or any other part of the mouth. Clove oil is an ancient home remedy for toothache. It knocks out the nerves inside teeth - but the oil is hard to keep in place, fairly obviously. This gel format sticks to the enamel and finds crevices to get inside. The only applicator you need is a {washed} fingertip. (For gums: Orajel - extra strength for adults; regular for non-adults.Now the good news, Dentogen's available at many local pharmacies. And, if it's in stock, you'll probably pay about 76% less.

AVOID!! - Burned skin off gums!
AVOID! Do not use this product! It is DANGEROUS!!It BURNED the outer layer of SKIN OFF my fiancee's GUM!I bought this for my fiancee as she was having toothache.First thing to note is that this stuff goes WARM on a cotton swab. Insinuating that when out of the tube this is somehow reacting with the air and heating up?Now, my fiancee when using it accidentally got some of it on her gum as anyone would probably do.It felt warm to her but as the gel numbs the area completely she didn't realise until the following morning that it had completely burned her gum to the point her gum was completely white and the skin was coming off!It had literally burned and killed the outer layer of gum skin.Leaving it extremely red raw, and very sore.I will be contacting Amazon as a matter of urgency as this dangerous product needs recalling.I will also be in contact with the company that owns this product as well as getting in touch with potentially Trading Standards and/or the relevant health and safety organisation(s).I strongly feel Amazon are not ensuring correct tests / health and safety precautions are being done or taken when it comes to things like this being sold here.Absolutely outraged..

Sugar free and does the job.
It's not the best tasting product, as clove is an acquired taste, but it really did the job of reducing swelling and pain. Just wish it was a bit sweeter on application.

Works well for pain
This Dentogen has been a lifesaver for me. I have 2 painful cavities that need fillings, but using this gel has stopped the pain & made it a lot easier to eat. Consistency just right, it numbs the area where its put.Highly recommend this.
