A complete waste of time and money
The product basically works as advertised but when used for purposes like turning LEDs on and off or changing LED colors, is a bit slow. The instructions are about 95% accurate (the firmware upgrade process has documentation errors and is sorta broken) and the device is pretty easy to set up. They do assume the user has a strong understanding of Arduino coding. The user group is completely useless, but that's generally the case with user groups. Note that the fancy GUI method of creating control panels on your phone screen currently only works on a very limited number of platforms - otherwise it's all Arduino coding.I bought the Andee in order to control an Arduino device from my phone. Initially, the performance was mediocre and somewhat slow, but acceptable. The online tutorials were really good, and that made a major difference in the ease of coding. There were a few problems like it freezing up and having to be power cycled every four hours of operation. I contacted the manufacturer about the freezing up and they recommended downloading and installing the latest firmware. Once that was done, the device ceased functioning. They admitted that they'd made some fundamental changes to the code and now I'd need to rewrite everything, with no guarantee of better performance. And also, they'd taken down the good tutorials and replaced them with a woefully incomplete API Reference. They offered to modify my code for me, but what they sent back was still unusable. I've tossed the Andee as junk and will use a different control approach. Don't trust anything this company does!

Breaking changes in updates of the software
The manufacture has made breaking changes in the firmware that prevent the app from working without reloading the firmware. The point of arduino hardware is a hardware platform that does not require continuous wired updates. Poor software decisions.
