The nut was the wrong thread and the handle is loose. I reused the old nut.

Perfect fit and functional

First of all the wrench size of the clip is for 9/16” nut, the skil saw that I have. And that they advertised for is for a 7/16” nut, therefore it was useless for me. If you have a broken clip to secure your saw depth. Look in your tool box and sacrifice a wrench box end because, it will solve your problems and save you time and money. Although this time I didn’t have to pay for any shipping back. I got to keep the clips but for now they don’t work for me.
