DJI makes real stuff. My gf were begging me to get this ronin rs4 because her old one didn’t hold her camera, she wanted she got it(happy wife happy life). She can’t stop saying me thanks, she is saying this is the coolest thing she ever had. I bought her camera for 1k she wasn’t that excited how she was excited to get this ronin. Slightly expensive, but can be sure that quality is great

Very usefull, one of the best gimbals I have had, don’t have too heavy lenses, using it with an a7iv and it is great

Buy this if you are a videographer! It seriously has changed my film quality tremendously. You will not regret it!I use it any time I am recording. Yes, it is heavy, but it makes taking steady videos a breeze. I put marks on it according to where it needs to be set up for my camera to make set up simpler and quicker. It does take some YouTubing and practice to understand how to set it up, but after a few times, set up will take less than 3 minutes. I am a wedding videographer, and it will typically last a full wedding day.

The motors on these gimbals goes into sleep mode alot. Type in RS4 sleep mode and you'll see it's a problem with these gimbal.Sleep mode for the ones that doesn't know, basically means, the motors will no longer hold your camera , it'll be as if the gimbal is turned off.Now before you think, oh this won't happen to you,I use this gimbal maybe 5 times max and it was just to test out how it would look with my a74 with an extremely lightweight lens so all times were under 5 minutes.I wanted to use this for my youtube videos , so maybe once a week for 1-2 hrs max, but it broke before I could even do that.I contacted the dji custom service and Herr is why I say don't buy this, he told me that it is a common problem with this gimbal and once it happens you have to send it back to dji or amazon. He said it so normal as if it happens all the time.He told me to send it back and get a new one, I then asked how do I know if it's not going to happen again, he told me , I don't but he couldn't see me getting two bad ones, I declined and opted for a refund that took 10 days to process and will most likely take another 3-7 business days before I get my money back.Buy at your own risk, you've been warned.

Well designed and stable to handle very heavy rigs like the a9iii with a 50mm prime lens. The battery lasts way longer than most will need it to. The only way id recommend more battery is if you are recording 8+ hours of sports in a single stretch. S lot smaller than I thought it would be but that's a good thing. Extremely stable.

The RS4 is a system gimbal that is customizable for many situations. My last gimbal broke on me with not much wear and tear, decided to get a new instead of repairing. No regret! I’m excited to add on the focus motors and lidar soon. The battery life is excellent. The build is high quality. I really feel it’s worth the money compared to some cheaper options. I don’t think I needed the Pro version for my type of work and camera. The RS4 has plenty of stability for my accessories, lenses, and FX30. If you have a RED or something bigger than DSLRs, the Pro may be a better fit.

I bought this product to use for restaurant videography, needing very smooth shots. I previously owned a Ronin SC, but found that it was difficult to assemble and balance on the spot. The RS4 feels much more put together than previous models, and the ability to attach your camera when the gimbal is off and locked and use the power button to automatically get it ready to shoot is incredible. I also love the ability to switch the plate to vertical shooting without buying a separate product. All around good and well thought out product.

Gimbal works great with my current setup, Lumix S5II, full cage and Lumix 24-105. My biggest issue is with Amazon. The package had been opened prior to delivery. All parts were intact and it did not look like anyone had even attempted to assembly the gimbal. The seals on the package were broken and I’m still debating on sending it back for a replacement, just because the item was not new and unopened. Gimbal is 5 star, but Amazon is quickly falling down my list for electronics purchases.
