Good clips measurement are for length of the clip, not the thickness it can clip
Update on my previous review.I use these to hold my glass plate to my 3d printer heat bed. these were the 16mm ones which are tiny and have a max opening of 6-7mm.I recently got a new printer and glass plate which these were too small for so i ordered the 24mm versions. These again are also good at holding the glass plate. However, in the set of 10, one was broken and one was bent. Still usable but a bit fiddly. I only need 4 of them anyway so still happy overall.I've used my calipers on these and the 24mm refers to the length across the clip rather than the amount it can fit in its grip (a useless measurement if i'm honest). The amount the 24mm can grip is a depth of 10mm.

Can use in baking!
No, I don't add these as some kind of weird topping to my cakes - I make my own bread and the dutch ovens are ridiculously expensive. So I make a poor man's dutch oven and these are integral to make that work. You have one bread tin on the bottom and another on the top as the 'lid' and the clips hold them together - especially as my 'lids' are silicone bread pans. They can take 200c heat and don't warp or break. I think they're pretty good - besides if they can cope with MY baking then, trust me, they can survive clipping anyone's paperwork together.

Good quality and strong clips
Bought 42mm ones which are perfect size for what I need. They come in a branded box. The clips are strong, seem good quality and they open wide enough for holding a vast amount of paperwork together as well as chunky notepad to notice board.

Its does the job
Not much to say about these other than they do what they are supposed to which is hold things together. I personally am not using them for paper at the moment and they are holding a pane of glass to my 3d printers print bed so they are certainly versatile. Lets face it they always come in handy and these are good value

Better description is required
The description of 19 mm is crap, no idea what that refers to!!!The only useful measurement is what it can be used for. 19mm was want I wanted be these are only good for 5-6mm which I have loads of, I just wanted a couple of clips that could do 15-20mm.Tried replying to the seller but doesn't seem to be an option. Bad description bad customer service. Though slight plus I found out this a day early as the delivery was quicker than quoted.

ideal and good value
I bought a selection of sizes, and I am very happy with the purchase. The only thing that I have seen as a problem with foldback clips over the years can be if they are simply somewhat flimsy or the if fold-back legs are not securely held and pop out easily.I do not see either of these issues to be a problem with these clips from Q-Connect.They are supplied in cardboard cartons of 10, and so are convenient to store in a cupboard or drawer (some of the cheper end of the market send these in plastic bags).

Handy little clips
Very useful little clips at very good price. The clips are small and aren’t going to be able to hold anything substantial but I’m using for holding receipts together.I use receipt apps so I clip together weeks receipts and pin the clip to cork board until end of week when remove and file. The clips come in so handy and at just under £1 when I purchased great value

They clip things
What can you say? They clip things very well indeed cos they're very strong. I use them to seal up bags for the freezer (far more effective than those crappy plastic clips that always break in the end), but I suppose they might work with, er, say, paper and the like.
