Beautiful, but the installation… UFF.
My counters had been painted before I bought my house 4 years ago, but it started turning yellow, staining super easily, and the paint started chipping. Needless to say, they were ugly. So, enter contact paper.End result: beautiful.Application: dear sweet baby Jesus; the PTSD is real. Be prepared to cuss and sweat and cuss some more. If you feel like ripping it off and chucking it in the trash, just remind yourself that replacing counters will cost THOUSANDS.From afar it looks perfect, but there are bubbles and a few wrinkles. If I do this again, I’d use the wet method to alleviate the bubble situation. I was worried about the water affecting the adhesion, but apparently it doesn’t. 😁Things I learned:1. Do not expect perfection. You will have to make cuts, and GOOD LUCK trying to match the pattern exactly. I dare say it’s borderline impossible.2. Be patient!!!!3. Try to work in small sections. If you have a large counter like I do, Godspeed. The top is one entire roll. I wrapped lil 2-inch strips around the edges first, then tackled the top. So. Many. Bubbles. And that was with working with an inch or so at a time. SO tedious. I’m just going to pin-prick them and carry on with life. I wanted the top to be as seamless as possible which is why I went that route.4. Watch and rewatch as many YouTube videos as possible! They definitely helped me feel more confident as I was cussing away.5. If you have rounded corners… have an adult beverage at the ready. Mine are rounded and curved, so a perfect storm when it comes to contact paper. Again, perfection isn’t really possible with contact paper, but it’s not very noticeable unless you’re searching. And, anything is better than what they were previously.

Cheap fix for ugly counters
I live in an apartment, so clearly, replacing whole countertops is not going to happen. So I opted for the next best thing. This stuff is easy enough to apply, easy enough to blend in if you need to use more than one section to cover the area, and it's durable. I've had it on my bathroom counter for about 2 months now and it definitely makes the bathroom look a little more modern than it DID look with the original countertops. My landlord likes it too, so win/win.Though it is pretty easy to apply, I will say this....TAKE. YOUR. TIME. Don't try to rush through it or it will bubble up and that looks terrible. I have an oval sink in my bathroom, and smoothing and trimming around the sink took the longest in order to get it perfect in that area...but the extra time I took was well worth it, as it looks pretty seamless. I did my bathroom sink in 2 sections, bringing each section halfway into the bowl of the sink and smoothing as I went. I used an X-Acto knife and a credit card to trim and smooth tiny sections as I was pulling the backing paper off. This is a slightly more expensive but much better option than Contact paper also because I find it more durable, stickier, and the finish isn't as dull/matte as Contact paper, so it more mimics an actual countertop.

Worked out great!
My counters were god awful. Now, they are pretty and I couldn't be happier. I wish there were videos to show you how to handle rounded corners but we figured it out.

Easy and Elegant
This is the third or fourth thing I've bought from this shop. Not only are their designs awesome, but these vinyl wraps are SO damn easy to install. I'm pretty dumb, and have a bit of an OCD stream, so I was very worried about getting it "right" when putting them on my counters. I CANNOT UNDERSTATE HOW EASY THEY MAKE THIS INSTALLATION!!! Serious props to the designers of this vinyl wrap stuff. It's such an easy way to breathe new life into a space with a boring counter top, especially for those of us who have to live in apartments.

Good quality and stickiness
The printed marble effect is very nice I like the browns and golds in it. Doesn’t look too fake.

Awful!!!! DO NOT BUY.
I bought these for my kitchen counter. I had another marble peel and stick that I had from the dollar tree I used it for three years and it held up pretty well for only a dollar. The application was also ok however this one that I got is absolutely awful . spent the entire day trying to put it on the counter only to have hundreds of bubbles. Even before taking the wrapping of its backing there were bubbles and scratched engraved in the wrapping. I did not struggle nearly as much as with the dollar tree one. Considering that this is 15x the price of the dollar tree one you would expect it to be better. I would recommend saving your money and buy from elsewhere

Won't stick to particle wood
The vinyl contact paper won't stick to the front porous particle wood underside of the old Formica. Gorilla glue did not help.Cutting it on that edge is asking for problems as things brush against the bottom edge of the counter.,

Good quality contact paper
I have read many negative reviews because this stuff is not easy to install, and people blame the product. I recommend watching youtube, and then practicing a lot. But if you can get the hang of it, then the result is very good.
