Very happy with this heater which was purchased to heat a 1000 sf basement which it does. The control panel is on the top and it's very easy to change the settings. I like the fact that it oscillates to distribute heat evenly, and the glowing flame adds a cozy vibe. One minor annoyance - when I turn it on it defaults to fan mode. I assumed that since it's a heater it would start in low heat mode. This was only annoying because I forgot to adjust it a few times, so it was blowing the cold air around. Might've helped if I'd read the operating instructions...

The media could not be loaded.  I replaced a shorter heating unit with the same heat rating. This unit has a more efficient heating due to using the high or low setting. The visual fire effect adds a nice ambiance. Investment will spent.

This heater looks nice but can be a bit finicky. Moving it while it's on can make the motor squeal. We did have an issue with the first one we received. After turning it off it would continue to run (beyond the 30 seconds it's designed to) until you unplugged it. Then, when plugging it back in, it would kick back on without turning the switch. The manufacturer/seller made it right and sent a replacement and didn't make us ship the faulty one back. They do put out pretty good heat and the flame effect is nice and quite realistic.

My husband and I just bought a new house two months prior to blistering cold weather, so we were unaware that our new house would get so cold. We woke up one morning to the house being 48 degrees, and the electrician we called said there was nothing to be done this late in the season and recommended buying some space heaters for the time being. So I did. I bought two of these and was able to get the house brought back up to a livable temperature. They did an amazing job for what they were bought for, and a couple design flaws don’t matter to me in those types of situations.

I love the look the style the fake lil fireplace, however it started making noises AFTER the return policy was up which is only 30 days. It won’t warm a room it’s like a small space heater in a big heater costume. It is nice if you sit directly in front of it. My little Lasko heater puts out more heat and covers a good distance away from it. This heater often when changing the heat setting will make a noise like I hurt it, then I’d use the remote still crying like a baby goat, next I smacked it, it stopped crying, now I’m in an abusive relationship with a heater. I’d really love to get my money back.

I like the false flame. I don't like the fact it won't shut off when it reaches the thermostat temperature like other space heaters i have. It just blows cold air.I found rusted screws when it arrived telling me this was either a return or in long term storage.The fan is noisier than advertised. Sleeping with it is difficult.To get the room to 71 I need to set it at 78.My other space heater isn't any better. I set it to 67 and the room warms up to 74 before it stops but at least it shuts off when temp is reached.Full disclosure my bedroom is 346 Sq feet.This heater needs to shut off when not heating.

The size is a good size, the durability is good, it beats well, and I use it inside of my bedroom to keep the room warm. It is a good value for the money. This is my second year of using it.

While the heater looks cool, looks can be deceiving. The build is severely disappointing for the price and features. It feels flimsy and cheap, not to mention it hardly works. 1. The heater lacks a safety tilt switch when knocked over.2. Heating performance is poor, barely gets hot enough to warm a medium size room even 2 degrees after running for several hours.3. The remote barely works even with a fresh battery (you need to aim at a very specific area).Overall it should not be worth more than $70.
