Great Price for what you're getting. Amazing buy!
I bought this camera on a Sunday night and it arrived on Monday, even though it was estimated at arriving on Wednesday. So already off to an amazing start. I've been wanted to get a dash cam for lately because I it just feels like a proper thing to do. I've been in an accident that was my fault, and I feel like had I had video proof of the accident, it could have been enough evidence to say it wasn't my fault, I specifically chose this camera because it was cheap and seemingly had good enough specs. A few of the reviews said that the manual is only in Chinese and apparently that gave this product a lower score. Didn't matter, I bought it anyway. Before the package even arrived, the seller emailed me with a PDF of the product manual in English and apologized about this inconvenience. When the package arrive I was actually really impressed with the packaging. Real nice sturdy box with an over flap and magnetic clips. The thing that did take me by surprise was the size of the camera. I just kinda went "whoah!" when I saw it. I was for some reason expecting something similar to the size of an early 2000s point and shoot camera. But, this is a good thing! It doesn't incredibly stand out like "look at me! I have a huge dash cam sticking on my window!" It's much more low key. Although, there's fake plastic chrome on it that I do want to paint so it can be even more discrete. The installation was even really easy! The charger cable was super long, and I was able to run it along the edge of the windshield underneath the upholstery, inside my door gasket, underneath my glove box (the cam come with wire clips and 3M double sided tape), and right into my cigarette lighter. The suction cup stand is awesome. Your dash cam will not fall off AT ALL! When you apply the suction, it's on there nice and tight. When you want to take it off, it's really simple and comes off easy. (It has a little lever and a tap to take it off the glass really easily) Once on the windshield, it's really easy to level the camera and aim it at whatever direction you want it to point at. So far, the video is fairly good. I'm not going to submit these to any major Hollywood studio any time soon, but for it's purpose, it does the job well. I want to submit videos but every thing I've recorded so far either shows my house or where I work. So, I'll submit later when I'm on the highway or wherever. I do want to say though, is that the microphone is not the best.... It doesn't really pick up that much. Although, it does pick up voices pretty well, But I needed to have my computer speakers up at max level, and I needed to be like 2 inches from the speakers to hear it. The night vision is OK, and the daytime recording are fine. Again, I want this to be a sort of added insurance just in case. Also, I have some insecurities when it comes to neighbors parallel parking near my car. This cam has a nice sensitivity and will start recording if the car moves. All in all, this dash cam is great if you want one, but don't want to invest in anything crazy just yet. I like it actually so much, that I want to get another one and place it on my rear view window! I'll most likely need to find a much longer charging cable though.

Not recommended
I have had a chance to use this dash cam for about 10 days now. The problems that I have encountered are as follows: 1. The dash cam will intermittently not work during my drive on the road. I had to press the power up button when I get to a traffic light on a few occasions. And yes I do know that the screen goes black after it was turned on for a few minutes and it is still recording when the recording light flashes green. 2. I have set the date and time a number of times and it appears that the unit does not remember the date or time at all. Each time I use my car, the dash cam picked up the time stamp from the last time that I used the car, which could be a day or 2 ago. There was one time it does not focus, lights far and near became bokeh, object outlines near and far are thick as if they are out of focus and I didn't change any settings. In summary, it is unreliable, unable to keep time and date, for no reason it does not focus.

Nice dash cam
First off, don't be frightened off by any negative reviews. This is a decent camera, especially for the price. The mounting hardware, including the suction cup works very well. I've had no issues with it falling off my windshield. The camera is small enough and does not to create a significant obstruction. The instructions that came with it were a little difficult to understand but the seller sent instructions by email which were much better written and much easier to understand due to the English being significantly cleaner. The seller sent these without being asked too, which shows me they care about customer satisfaction. There was a slight learning curve but it's relatively straight forward to operate. If you have any technical ability at all, you'll be fine. If you don't have any technical ability, just follow the instructions and play with it a little and you'll figure it out. It comes with an 8gb card which is a nice bonus. An 8gb card will give you about 40 minutes of video. I set mine to loop every 2 minutes, which basically creates several two minute files in sequence until the memory card fills up. Once the card fills up, it will automatically begin to delete files one at a time, starting at beginning, to make space for new files. If a file is locked, it will not delete that file. You can lock a file manually or it will lock automatically if triggered by an accident. I initially had it set on 10 minute loop but a couple files wouldn't playback almost as if they were corrupted. Not sure what happened but I haven't experienced the problem since setting to 2 minute loop. It would be nice if it had an auto iris but that's not a huge issue for me. Outside of that it's a pretty decent camera. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
