Simple, light, portable, good volume; nice "old school" features.

Perfect for IP telephone use, and it works perfectly with my hearing aids. Simple yet functional, just as I hoped for.The phone comes with one cable you simply put in there you have your phone line socket placed. very simple, took me 2 minutes at most.It has 3 levels for volume adjustment, and has a clear, crisp sound.The ringer can be adjusted at 3 modes: High ringer, low ringer, or Silent. The ringer is easy to hear all across the living room.The keyboard has comfortable, huge buttons, perfect for shivery hands.

I purchased this phone to use for my building entry door system. It worked out perfectly. Slimline, mounts flush against wall and sound quality is fine.

The phone is great. I needed a phone that would work when the power goes out. The sound is clear the ringer is loud. I had previously bought the only one of this type available locally and it died withing months. (I bought the same model twice, thinking that the first one was a fluke.) The only drawback to this phone is that it has a single phone wire that goes from the handset, through the base, that plugs into the jack, rather than having the phone plug into the base and then a wire from the base plug into the jack. This is a disadvantage, since if one needs a longer line, one must hook up an extension, rather than just plugging the longer line into the base.

Key details would have been helpful in the product description before purchasing this. Got this for working at home but did not work to plug into a headset, due to the wrong size of jack coming from the handset and nowhere to plug the headset cord into. Note: this phone only has one cord coming from the handset which plugs into your phone service, and had a wide jack (6P2C) on the other end (headset required the thinner 4P2C jack). The phone base serves no purpose other than a place to put the handset (is not connected to handset and no therefore no port to connect a headset). Although it was cheap, annoyed that I can't return it.

I have been through a lot of land line phones and I must say this simple phone is perfect. Great sound and ergonomic too, quality made: Fits well "on the head" if you like to be hands free like me to multitask; and comes with a nice long cord. I love that the hang up button, and the dialer, is on the head set so you can make multiple calls with out being near the reciever. The ring is not obnoxious. Voice on the other end of the line is loud and clear even on low volume. My kids are learning to use it--a healthier alternative to cell pnones as it is EMF friendly. If you've been shopping around for a well made phone with sensible features and you don't care about all the gimmicks of a large office phone then this is the one to get!

I was entirely disappointed by this thing we finally decided to get a landline again because we have newborns and we wanted to make sure we could contact emergency people if something happened and we live out in the boonies. We plug this thing in and it was so scratchy and noisy and tinny that we couldn't use it. And we thought were so as well that's disappointing maybe it's just a bad line well I ended up finding a used set of phones at a tag sale and I plugged it in and the sound quality was perfect. That's when we realized it was the phone itself. And unfortunately because we hadn't utilize the phone after we got it immediately it was too late for a refund. So do not buy this not to mention I think they sell the exact same one at Walmart I found out after the fact. Just go down the Walmart and check it out but do not buy this phone maybe it's just the ones from the seller I don't know but there's the equivalent phone at Walmart don't waste your energy with this one

It's a "not quite" bottom of the line, wired handset that I needed for one of our tougher, dirtier production environments. It is well suited for that purpose. I liked it and bought a spare, and I will get another when I use that one if this model is still available. I expect it to be at least a couple years from now.

easy to dial, receiver volume excellent, how ever he ringer volume could be slightly higher, hard to hear when you are in other parts of the house
