Packaging - the set comes in a large ceramic shell. I like how big this shell is. Decorative items in sets like this are often too small to be useful, but the shell is actually big enough to store lots of items. The only issue is the tacky design on the front (the back is plain so I will just place the coloured side against the wall). If it had been all white it would have made a far more versatile and stylish piece. One thing that is really annoying is that all the items are glued into the packaging and the glue does not come off so everything is sticky.The toiletries - the toiletries are really nice. I especially like the two lotions and the scent is absolutely gorgeous. The mermaid's tail soap is almost too pretty to use.The other bits and pieces - the other items included are rather odd. There is a shell-shaped ring box that feels like incredibly cheap plastic covered with some very unpleasant feeling material. What a strange thing to include in a toiletries set?! That went straight in the bin. There are also two nail polishes which are also bad quality and the dark red one really does not fit in with the look of this set. Again, it seems an odd addition. I think it would make more sense to have had some shower gel or a sponge shaped like a seashell in this set rather than these rather odd additions.Conclusion - these are some nice items in this set and I will certainly be using the toiletries. I just wish there had been more toiletries and not all these odd additions.

This gift set comes housed in a china 'shell' This might appeal to some as a bathroom decoration after you have used the products in the set. I think maybe younger teens might find it more appealing than older people.I like the fact that this set is no over priced and yet has great natural ingredients and cruelty free.In the set, you get a file, two nail polishes, a body lotion , a hand cream , a small pack of bath salts, a small white shell shaped box and a blue soap in the shape of a fin.The body lotion, hand cream and bath salts are all 'ocean' scented which is fresh and pleasant but not overpowering.The two nail varnishes are 'peel off' which I have never seen before. They are a dark red and a white, presumably to do French polish effects.I am a little confused at to why nail varnishes are in the set as I would have thought shower gel might have been more appropriate. This is another reason I feel the set is aimed at younger teens rather than older people. I would say it is aimed more at the female rather than male population too.The hand cream and body lotion are nice enough but be careful as the hole the product comes out from is quite large so if you squeeze too hard you will get more than you bargained for,

This is definitely something you'd buy as a gift - but not to send through the post, it's heavy and so would the postal cost be. This is because of the ceramic container, which is clearly meant to be kept and re-used. This, in itself, is good, but ours will be banished to the back guest bedroom because it's just too shiny and garish for my taste. It could also be used as a planter, maybe with a trailing plant you could hide the glitz a bit.The products are cruelty-free; the soap is really nice, so creamy it reminded of of Dove. The lotions seem fine though the apertures they come out of are too wide so you have to be careful not to get too much. The bath salts didn't feel as if they made much difference. There is something that might be a travel soap dish - could be handy if we are ever allowed to travel again! There is an emery board and two small nail varnishes which - presumably on purpose - peel off rather than needing to be removed with varnish remover. One of them is a nice dark red, the other white - who on earth wants white nails? There was a fair amount of unnecessary plastic in the packaging.

Really disappointed with this purchase in the end. Bought as a gift for someone and it arrived literally smashed to pieces. Tried to get a replacement but was told it was not possible. The ceramic shell holder was the main reason I bought this, I thought it looked beautiful.If it didn't arrive smashed I would have been over the moon with it. Its a really good size, the shell is beautifully decorated. And the bits and pieces inside are nice and smell lovely. I will keep them myself as I cannot gift it now.. Just to note... I did not receive any nail polish in mine, but instead received a little cloud/rainbow bath bomb, which is actually nicer as I wasn't fussed on the nail varnish anyway.

This is a really good value set and I bought it so I could put a piece of jewellery in the set for my family member. This would be a great way to hide a proposal ring or valentines gift. It was excellent value, all stored in a ceramic dish. I think you only thing that was a little disappointing is that it needs wrapping as the box it arrived in was a plain cardboard box. If this was in a prettier container it would be worth a paying a bit more.

I love this set!Came nice wrapped and has a lovely design!Has included a hand cream, body lotion, soap, bath salt, 2 nail polish, 1 nail file, shell jewelry box and a lovely ceramic box!Great as a gift and great value for money!I would definitely recommend it!
