04/23: this dress is so elegant and more beautiful in person and on than in the picture. I’m 5’1” so I wish it had come in petite and the jacket overlay was a couple inches shorter. I ended up returning it due to choosing a long gown, but it was a tough choice between those two.

I loved this dress. It is extremely flattering and I felt comfortable in it all day and night. It moved well for dancing and sitting, and looked great (not rumpled) from start to finish.The vertical lace detail is stunning. It pulls the eye up instead of wide and is made of beautiful fabric with a hint of silver, but not over-the-top bling. I wore pearls with hematite detail and lighter silver shoes -- everything matched perfectly despite the different shades of silver. VERY flattering and I received compliments all night. Felt beautiful.I was surprised that some of the other reviews thought the jersey inner dress was NOT a great fabric. I found it well made, comfortable, had a good weight, stretched but wasn't clingy, and looked wonderful. The jacket is attached, and I purchased it knowing that from the description.I am 5' 4" and about 190 lbs, so "I'm a little teapot, short and stout". Definitely bottom-heavy. At 60 years, I wanted to look stylish and did not want to show my arms, stomach, hips or my gluteus maximus. This was a for hot summer wedding, and I needed something light and breathable. The dress was perfect, and I can tell it will transition to fall/winter well.If you are shaped like me--this is the perfect dress. I had tried on many dresses and was in despair and getting desperate. Other dresses either looked dumpy or were too clingy....which I know had more to do with my body than the dress, but it was too late to go Keto-Aerobic. Just sayin.I am so happy I chose this one. I have already worn it to two other events, including another wedding in hot and humid conditions. I kept the jacket hooked at top and open to hem. The lace jacket hid all my body flaws (arms, stomach, butt) and came to my knees. I was able to wear a Shapellex body garment that came down my thighs a bit underneath to smooth me out and never it showed, even when I was sitting down. The dress was comfortable, and the jacket moves and flows in a very flattering way.I wore the 14P size, and returned the size 16. It was amazing the difference between the 14 and 16. The size 16 literally hung on me, including having noticeable bigger arms and shoulders but the 14 felt great.Thank you to the designer of this dress. You relieved my stress and I appreciate your attention to detail.

I purchased the Plum dress size 16. I’m 5’3 180lbs.The dress arrived bundled in a small plastic bag. I opened the bag and dress looked stretched out as if it had been worn. There was a gray hair on the dress and the under arms of the dress had white deodorant marks! The otter layer that is lace had a pulled thread. I returned the next day. I’m waiting on my refund. It’s been two days.

I have not worn my Groom dress yet.

It arrived on time, was well packaged and it is beautiful. Very dressy!

My 83 year old mother absolutely loves this dress and will be wearing it to my son's wedding. Nordstroms couldn't find a petite (mom is only 5 ft tall) so we were thrilled we found it on Amazon!

Buen vestido pero pense que venia por separado vestido y saco. Lo malo fue la envoltura vino en un simple sobre cuando deberia de venir en una caja al menos por el precio y seguridad al manejar la mercancia

This is a really pretty dress that's well made. The lace is a bit stiff and poke-y but not to the point that it can't be worn. The dress and coat are attached, which is the main reason I returned it. The sheath dress has 2 layers of polyester fabric which is great for keeping things smooth, but not so great if it has to be worn on a hot summer day. Add the fact that the coat cannot be taken off, it could have been very uncomfortable at the outdoor wedding ceremony I had hoped to wear it to. If you'll be in an AC'd environment, it might be perfect.

I an getting married for the second time and was looking for an age appropriate dress *I'm 49*. This dress is perfect, fits beautifully and seems well made. Very happy with my purchase!
