Amazing for the price.
The media could not be loaded. One thing i love is that it was obvious that they test the saws before they ship them out. Can tell by the fuel vapor pressure and very light residue in bar oil. With relatively old mixed gas it still started on the 3rd pull for choke and 1st in run mode. Runs great and cuts noticeable faster than my small 18” 32cc saw.Has what i think is called a “easy start” rope pull. You don’t have to yank it hard af. When you pull it, even if slowly, it builds pressure and then will crank itself. (If that makes sense, like its got a spring)10/10 very good saw for the money, does better so far than some more expensive saws i have owned

It's a BEAST!
If your looking for a real good home owners saw with 454 BIG BLOCK POWER this is your saw!I've worked on chain saws for a living over the past 30 years of being a mechanic. And I must say this is made Better than the Craftsman LOWE'S SAW I purchased. Starts easier. Bigger bar 20", made similar but better and definitely Bigger than the Craftsman. The chain tensioner is in the front like the old ones, and the frame is beefier. The price is the same as what Lowe's sells the Craftsman saw for with a 16" bar with 42cc engine. BOTH MADE IN CHINA BY THE WAY!It Ripped through a 28 inch tree fast. Handles good. starts good and very powerful. I highly recommend this.UpdateAfter many tanks of gas, bar oil, chain adjustments, and a full week of use with many many large log cuts,,, it is still easy to start and cuts like a hot knife though butter and I'm not being nice to this saw at all. 25:1 mix and old motor oil for bar oil. IT LIKES IT!

Good value for the homeowner
I have the Wemars WS-6220-G 62 cc with 20" bar. The positives: The saw came very well packaged that included a small fuel mixing container, sharpening file and tools needed to assemble and service the saw. It started easily with just a few easy pulls for both the cold and warm starts...a big plus for small 2-stroke engines. It only cost me about $120 so it's a good value for sub professional use around the house. I'm still doing break-in running so not really challenging the machine yet but it looks like it should perform as it should. I'm not a professional user and don't burn wood but I have a lot of trees on my 2 acre lot that require frequent branch and trunk removal. The negatives: as others mentioned, it is not one of the well known brands. This Chinese saw has more plastic and cheaper feeling components and accessories which is expected at this price point. The one thing I really didn't like is the manual. It wasn't written by a person that had a good command of the written English language and the manufacturer didn't bother to have it reviewed by a native English speaker. Also, it was written for three different saw models but didn't indicate which model was being referenced. For instance, I read there was supposed to be an adjustment in the air filter for operating in cold weather but apparently my model didn't have it. There could also have been a better description of how to use the fuel mixing container but eventually I figured that out on my own. I saw others reference using a 25:1 fuel/oil mixture for break in but my manual said to use a 40:1 for 20 hrs and then switch to 50:1. There is a lot of unnecessary confusion that could easily be eliminated with a well written manual.

Waste of money.
After two time use the starter pulley didn’t work, when I opened the cover to check why it doesn’t work the pulley was broken inside, very disappointed and the will never recommend it, it was waste of money, only worked for about one hour.

As Excellent Value
I have owned many chainsaws. This is the best value I have ever found. It starts easily. It cuts well with plenty of power. The weight is not bad. The value for the money is excellent.

I'm surprised
I didn't expect this saw to be much for the price but I have been pleasantly surprised with its performance. I put an Oregon chain on it and it cuts great. We'll see if it has any longevity.

Good value for an occasional use chainsaw
My regular chainsaw started hiccuping and I needed a quick replacement without having to spend too much money. Took a chance on this Wemars saw and I'm glad I did. Simple assembly, just put on the bar/chain, tighten the chain per the instructions (I like mine a little tighter than the instructions call for), fill it with bar oil (not included), mix the gas/oil (also not included), fill the tank and you're ready to go. Mine started on the third pull and has started on the first pull ever since. First day of use I dropped three trees with diameters ranging from 12-16 inches. Stripped the debris and cut the logs in to 18" pieces for my neighbors fireplace. This saw at approx $115 doesn't compare with my regular saw that cost $385 back in 1983 but it did the job. What it lacks is power when the cutting gets tough. It bogs down and you have to back off and start in again a bit slower. The included chain is very sharp and was still sharp after cutting up all three trees. For an inexpensive back up or occasional use saw I highly recommend this saw. Comes with a plastic bar/chain protector, scrench and instruction booklet.
