Gullor Chinese Horse M Nib Fountain Pen with Gift Box - Bronze

I'm impressed by this pen. I'm not sure what the cap is made of, but the body is obviously metal, and the whole has a good heft to it without being unduly heavy, and it feels solid overall. I seldom post my pens- I have small hands- but I found that this pen is well balanced when posted and not really all that unwieldy. It's also pretty secure when posted.It's a Baoer, by the way, at least the cap is, and like the cap of the Baoer 388, it has a plastic insert that makes capping the pen a smooth operation which I like.So is it attractive or a bit gaudy? That's a subjective call, of course, but I like it. However the design has been created- I confess sheer ignorance- it's neatly done, restrained rather than flashy. As I said, I like it.The nib is very smooth and writes on the wet side. I used Waterman Tender Purple, an ink I find to be on the dryish side with most pens, but which has a definitely wettish flow with this one, but it's not a gusher. I had no skipping problems.I wasn't too impressed by the converter so I swapped it with a Schmidt universal and it fit perfectly.All in all this is a pen well worth the cost, a cost that's, let's face it, almost ridiculously low.

Absolutely beautiful. I was surprised at the detail and how nice this pen is. It writes beautifully. Unfortunately the pen didn't come with any instructions with it so I went on YouTube and entered the name "Gullor" and found out how to load the cartridge. It comes with a insert that will allow you to use a bottle of ink. The insert draws the ink into the pen. Take out the insert and use the cartridges. I had to put the cartridge down on a hard surface and push before it snapped in. I love the different colors of ink cartridges it came with.

Wonderful design, I fell in love with how the pen was made. Writing with it also felt nice. I do not believe that it is an outside pen. I have seen that there is discoloration on the coper part of the pen. Wonderful pen, it has just not pocket friendly.

This pen is beautiful and very expensive looking. Of course it writes well but that is the least of it. I bought it for my 26 year old son who loves it. I only wish they made the tiger pen for the Chinese zodiac for me. I could not recommend this pen more highly and I am truly picky.

The Gullo Horse in the copper color finish is gorgeous!!. I was excited to find the rollerball as I had purchased the ballpoint pen and was extremely pleased. I gave it three stars only because of it's beauty. The ink skips terribly and appears to have possibly dried up. The roller ball is so rough that it gauges the paper when writing with it. I also had ordered two sets of three rollerball pens to give as gifts, but the points and spotty ink flow are unfortunately, the same. I ordered three sets of the the recommended refills suggested for the roller ball pens, but they do not fit into the tip of the pen. As beautiful as the pen is, it is useless and I have two sets of three pens that I could not give as they were intended as gifts. I am extremely disappointed!!

I am in love with with this pen. I have osteoarthritis and I can hold onto this pen. My writing has definately improved. There isnt anything I don't like. I wish finguring out which pen refll I need was easier.

I ordered 2 pens and both lacked any instructions. Came with 5 various color ink cartridges and inside the pen is some sort of cartridge empty of ink - I suppose that's to draw ink in from a well... when I put the ink filled cartridge in the pen it did not seem to fit (too thin) so not sure how that works.Like I said, instructions would have been nice but for $9 I guess they wanted to save some pennies for profit over repeat sales. Too bad because the body of the pen is very nice. As a pen - not so much.

This ink pen writes just as good as any i have used. Seems to be Quality materials and made to Last. I was suprised to see the Baoer name on the tip and casing of the Pen. I would definitely buy again.
