Best carpal tunnel syndrome wrist brace for daytime -- great stability, comfort, mobility
I love the ACE wrist braces for daytime wearing to treat carpal tunnel syndrome buzzing symptoms. It is so easily adjustable and has THREE support rods in the brace, so it supports well. It is also very easily adjusted to any size wrist, hand, and forearm. It also allows for full typing without feeling constricted and the hole for the thumb is superbly comfortable. With other braces, my thumb was impinged upon by a too-tight fit.I could also use this for nighttime sleeping, but I use Dr. Brace instead, because it is also very comfortable and has nice beads in the palm area. I don't use Dr. Brace for daytime because the same beads that make it ideal for night sleeping, make it a bit too high for typing.I recommend you also get ergonimic equipment -- keyboard, mouse with rolling ball (I have Logitech), and mousepad (I have the cat's paw). I also ice my hands using the special icing wrist wrap by Reviux (spelling), which resembles one of these c.t.s. wrist braces except it contains a gel that freezes and you slide it on for 20 minutes to chill your hand. A regular ice bag is colder, and stays colder longer, but the icing wrist brace fits around the entire hand. I use both icing devices. Also, rest your fingers and hands. Avoid typing, and when/if you do type, use two fingers and type slowly. It's best to treat and cure your symptoms early. I also take ibuprofen sporadically to treat inflammation, which is also why I ice my wrists, forearms, and fingers/hands.

So comfortable and feels great.
I didn't realize how old my wrist brace was that I had, 35 years, until I put this one on. So comfortable and my sprained arm is finally starting to heal. I wish you made one to wear on the shower.

Best wrist splint I have
I was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome and these were my lifesaver. I stubbornly wore my old mueller wrist splints to save money, so my mother ordered these for me and I can say there is a considerable difference. The ACE splints are stronger and more durable and prevents me from bending my wrists up and down, while the mueller allows for limited movement. I still wear the mueller for whenever I go out, because the ACE splints are soooo bulky I can't wear some shirts over them, and also I want to have that range of motion because the ACE splints will NOT let you bend your wrists at all! The ACE splints don't chafe, or itch and when I sleep with them and they've never caused me any hives breakout of sorts.

I like this wrist splint
I like this wrist splint; it's just as good as the one Medicare provided me almost 4 yrs. ago. It does not have two metal "spoons", but I find the one for the palm is just fine. The color is a pleasant change from the black one Medicare paid for. It is fairly comfortable, so far as a wrist support can be...The velcro closures are very, very strong. It does not hurt, although I think my particular hand had to become accustomed to it; at first the arthritic thumb joint would be reddish in the morning but not any more. I only have to wear wrist splints at night, not all day. I would recommend this wrist stabilizer. Jo

As expected
I bought this because I get occasional pain in my wrist. I usually wrap my wrist in ace bandages to work when it is hurting, but I wanted a way to stabilize my wrist at night and ace bandages are not designed for overnight use. It works and it is pretty comfortable, but I usually wake up halfway through the night and have to take it off. I also plan to wear it when I have to make a long road trip, but I haven't had to since I bought it.

My wrists are only about 20% functional
According to the hand specialist, both of my wrists have been destroyed by degenerative joint disease! None the less, this brace (and the apparently identical one made by Futuro) enable me to enjoy all the Activities of Daily Living such as windsurfing 3-4 days a week, light weight training and mowing my lawn etc.The only negative I have noted is that the thumb loop is not durable and begins to wear out in a year or two of steady use. I will have to replace mine soon (the loops, not the braces!).
