Carry-on Vocal Booth Pro: 2013 Prototypes Pre Modified

Good for the price, and a responsive support crew, but this is very cheaply made. After one gigs, and a couple practice setups, some of the stitching is coming apart, and one of the support rods has poked through the fabric at the end of its channel. The metal "table" inside bends very easily. I do not consider this to be very "road-worthy".We used it for a one time gig where we needed to record 30 kids singing one song each. This was perfect for the job, and it performed well and looked professional. We did add several pieces of 2" x 12" wedge foam acoustic squares to the inside to aid in sound absorption (noisy environment). If you will be working in a very noisy environment, I highly recommend doing the same, as this is not designed to be sound proof. (The foam squares are available here on Amazon). But, as I said, it is constructed very cheaply, and I have serious doubts as to how well it will hold up over time.That being said, there really is nothing else comparable for the price, just be forewarned to be gentle with it, and dont expect it to last a lifetime.

I got this as an investment and alternative to booking a studio. It would have been the equivalent of renting a professional studio for 3 hours. The quality of the sound overall is great and the compact size is a plus. Of course if there are loud noises outside (construction work, thin windows and noisy traffic) some sounds are unavoidable. However, in a normal room without too much interference, it works perfectly with good sound, no hollowness or echoes. The only thing is, make sure you have a strong and sturdy mic stand (not included) as the item itself is relatively heavy for such a stand (it contains a metal sheet as the 'table' base) otherwise you risk a wobbly surface.

I have tried a bunch of vocal booths. Nothing compares to this. I am VERY picky. Not boxy sounding like the others. Great company and great people. HIGHLY recommend.
