SNE549 PADI Review
Pretty good price on Amazon, received as a Valentine’s Day gift. Seiko Quality, solar function, convenience of not having to wind it every other day, looks oversized in pictures but fits well on wrist. Swapped out the bracelet for a leather strap, much more comfortable. Save the bracelet, paperwork and box.

Thought I received a black watch
Until I got it outside in good light, then that beautiful blue shined. The watch itself is fantastic, best bang for buck! If the second hand skips a couple beats it needs charging. the Hardlex crystal is an upgrade over mineral. the red stripe on the crown shows you when it's screwed in. The PROSPEX is an award for maintaining professional specs in the harshest conditions from climbing MT Everest to Death Valley. while this is not a collector's complicated movement if you don't wind or shake it every couple of days, you'll have to reset the time. Quartz is the most accurate movement, and being solar - you won't have to buy a battery for over 20 years ! Bingo ! checks all the boxes for me.

Looks Great and Works Great.
Sharp looking watch which is solar powered. Take it to the Jeweler and have the wrist band sized for your wrist. Keep the spare links, note: there are small plastic tubes inside the links, in case you wanted to give it to another loved one later.

Good value, Seiko quality.
A very nice watch for the price. Quartz action for accuracy, and solar power eliminating the need for battery replacements. Nice design and color, in my opinion.

What’s not to love…
I am a big fan of Seiko watches. I have an extensive collection of “turtle and samurai” divers. This one is great for every day wear or dressing up for a night out. I always get positive comments on it. Several of my colleagues at work asked where they could get one. I love this watch for its utility and ruggedness. I can swim in it as well as SCUBA dive. I have some dedicated dive watches, but this one works as well as any of them as far as water resistance. I’ve gone to 120 feet a couple of times on deep dive training with this watch and it was great. It’s very visible in the water and easy to read. I really like the magnifying window over the date too.I love that I can grab this watch and wear without worry. It keeps great time and only needs to be adjusted for daylight savings time changes. I have an older version of this in automatic that I bought in Thailand 40 years ago and it still works perfectly. You just can’t miss with Seiko watches.

High quality diver without the 4 or 5 figure price
This is my first sport diver watch. SEIKO delivers big in the quality and value categories. The solar charging and quartz accuracy are pluses for me. The packaging was brand new and this was quickly shipped to me. I like the depth on the dial. The blue tone is not too dark and there are flashes of red on the hands that draw your interest. The Lume glows bright on the hands, dial, and the 60 position on the bezel. It sits chunky and solid on the wrist. I wish it came with a sapphire crystal, but other than that this watch is a great purchase. This is the kind of watch that can be passed down to subsequent generations.
