Oshun - Goddess of Love, Beauty and Marriage Sculpture

Well made, arrived quickly. Looks great in person.

I buy a lot of items on Amazon but I only have time to review the best. The little statue of Oshun is a true beauty. This item has the sheen of a cast bronze figurine and is indistinguishable next to a real one. The detail is superb and items like the ankle bracelet, hoop earrings, belt buckle, and breast plate are highlighted in a dull gold that contrasts nicely with the bronze skin. The hoop earrings look like they are hanging off her ear. The skirt is a slightly browned color that sports a lot of interesting detail. The little parrot is greenish with a orange beak. Overall the colors are very muted so they don't distract. Whoever created the original was an artist with real talent. The muscle tone is well defined, the legs and arms are perfect. Any one who appreciates the female form will appreciate this well formed beauty. I would love to meet the model! Please note the Oshun is only about nine inches tall but she looks just fine wherever you place her. I recommend under a light as this makes her pop!

Absolutely beautiful. I was worried that it would come broken or that it would not look like the picture depicted but I'm am just shook! I had been eyeing it for about 5 months and finally broke down and bought it its breathtakingly stunning. To me this is the best representation of her I have seen, she is not charcoal black but bronze like honey and she still has the AA features such as the hair and facial features. I saw comments on other statues where they whitewashed her. She is the optimome of love and she is the Goddess of beauty and should be represented as such. The statue looks expensive and rich with bronze I love how the bird pops with the contrast of green. The shipping was fast and it was packaged securely. All in all I'm am satisfied.

This statue is nice piece and sort of worth it for the money. Oshun looks like metal and feels like metal but is actual made from something different... most likely plastic. Yet it is still beautiful and people will probably think it’s solid metal. The bottom of the stage has a thin velvet feel. All of the pieces on the statue look properly painted and the only colorful piece is the bird on her shoulder and it looks nicely painted as well. If you are thinking about adding this to your collection or house, I would probably recommend it.

The craftsmanship is amazing and so was the packaging! I love that it came with a lovely hand held size description of Oshun and her attributes!

Oh my Goodness I am so in love with my mother oshun statue I felt the powers from the time I held it close to me chills was running all over my Body. It was exactly as shown in the picture and even more beautiful she is so gorgeous after I put my oshun statue the evening I placed her on my Altar I had such a beautiful Dream about my Boyfriend and i, I slept so peaceful thank you seller you made me Life complete couldn't ask for better 🙏

I was worried about how it would look once I got it, most things don't look as good as what you see on TV, or the internet...... but I am very satisfied. She is beautiful, and really universal looking. She is to be a African God, but she has a universal look- very beautiful. I have bought a couple other statues, All on the concentration of Love, sensuality, and the power of female sexuality.... This statue really concentrates on being a beautiful sensual female- without certain concentration on ethnicity, so it was perfect for me!!

This statue came on time, in tact - and in a gift box, like it was supposed to. I did have to patiently remove all the business-end labels stuck on it...but I was ultimately able to satisfactorily clear them all, before wrapping it. This statue of Oshun came as pictured, if not better. I was pleased with its quality (general workmanship, attention to detail, sturdiness - and accuracy of representation). More importantly, the high school graduate - a namesake of Oshun, to whom this was gifted - LOVED it. She's been cherishing it ever since - so I have no complaints... Many thanks to the maker, the seller, and to Amazon - for helping me craft, by degrees, such a positive moment for this young woman. Given all she has endured - it was really important that this be an occasion she would remember, for all the right reasons; and you helped me do that. Much love. :)

La figura llegó antes del tiempo estimado, para ser exactos una semana antes, esta muy bien detallada, muy hermosa pero en la descripción señalaban que tenía una altura de 41 cm pero en realidad mide 23 cm lo cual se me hace una diferencia excesiva y por ende considero que su costo esta bastante elevado
