I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my Sister-in-law. The packaging of this was adorable and the yarn was very vibrant. What I especially loved about this kit is that the canvas is printed which makes it much easier to follow. Very happy with this :)

The yarn is pretty good quality in comparison to other kits I have used in the past. The sewing for the backing was well done. I would have given this a higher rating except that it is not even close to the size needed to complete the pattern. The diagram was larger than the mat itself. There is no way that I would have been able to complete it if I had not removed multiple rows and shorten rows so that the feathers did not overlap and to actually have the complete rug.

I bought this kit for my daughter for Christmas. She has knitted and done bead projects but never latch hook. She loved it- finished the project in about a week. The area rug looks great in her room!
