Good buckwheat but not properly sorted out
The buckwheat is of good quality, but not sorted out properly, so there are some black flakes and even small stones. Please improve the sorting quality and we will buy from you regularly.

Tastes lousy
Could only use it in a soup. As rice substitute not so great

It has a chemical smell and taste.
When I opened package the strong chemical horific odor hit me, it was smth like a naphthalene. I tried to wash it and leave it for some time but the smell didn't disappear. I was afraid to cook such grain, even to cook it for my pets. Moreover the grain is green for 70% and only the rest is little bit brown.

Fresh but too expensive
The product is fresh, not too old. I am glad but the price to unit weight for buckwheat on Amazon is bizarre. It’s a Himalayan and sub Himalayan crop for which the farmers don’t get even a bit of this price. Artificially hiked price because we as consumers can’t step out to buy from our local kirana. Price also has something to do with the current fad.
