NOVA3D3D Printer Resin White Water Washable,405nm Rapid Curing Standard Photopolymer Resin Designed for Monochrome LCD 3D Printing,High Precision Non-Brittle, Easy to Print,Easy to Clean,1000g Resin

This is the first resin I have used with my Phrozen Mini 4k as the Phrozen 4k resin was not in stock.I have printed several parts so far with very good results and no print failures so far, I am writing this review based on the gray water washable resinThe best part is the ease of clean up, I am new to resin printing but after watching several videos tried using Mean Green as a quick spray first with a little light scrubbing then using a second spray bottle filled with warm water over a large bowl, it does not seem to take very much effort to get a clean model. With a 2 minute cure under UV lights I have had great success. Please do not rinse any resin in any manner that will lead to it going into the sink, be responsible in disposal of tainted rinse.I don’t have a lot of experience with resins but it does have a noticeable odor thus the non perfect score.I am using a 2 second per layer cure time with a mono screen and so far this resin has not let me down,I will try other resins but at least I know this is one I can count on.

I used this for prototype samples of a new product. The 1st run was a good material and color, I needed more so I bought it again. As you can see these are 2 different products the color is much lighter in the second purchase and the material is not nearly as good a finished print.I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this resin

After dealing with IPA for a while, I decided I wanted to try water washable resins. And being the type of person who doesn't like to just stick with one brand if there are other options that are better, I decided to try a couple other brands of water washable resin other than NOVA3D. I found that I really liked the end result of NOVA3Ds regular resin, but wanted to give other brands a chance. Anyhow, I had a string of failures and partial failures due to cure settings not being quite right (even after the Anycubic cure tests), and although I was able to get nice detail, the number of failures I had compared to when I was printing with NOVA3D's regular resin was just unacceptable. Switched back to NOVA3D for the water washable and am extremely happy I did. The amount of details is the same as the others (and as their regular resin), which is fantastic, and aside from some support issues, I've yet to have another major failure. Exceptionally happy with this resin! Only wish they'd also do a clear water washable here on Amazon, then I would have no reason to buy resins from another company.

This resin, while decent in terms of how quickly it can be cured and how much detail it can provide, isn't really water washable. And that's the main draw for this resin. It is supposed to be water washable, that is the whole point.If you are looking for resin that is really water washable, try the Elegoo brand. When I put that in the ultrasonic cleaner, I can see lots of uncured resin just pouring off the model. With the Nova3D brand, however, nothing seems to happen in the ultrasonic cleaner.Because this resin isn't actually water washable, that means if you are trying to clean it with only water (like I can with Elegoo) you will end up with sticky, sometimes shiny, models. This isn't the case with the Elegoo brand. My only issue with Elegoo is that is is brittle. This stuff also doesn't seem to post cure as quickly as the Elegoo resin.Final verdict: While cheap, since washing the models with only water leaves them sticky, it isn't really worth it.

A good resin, highly fluid prints well on Mono X at 1.4sec exposure. Has slightly more odor than Anycubic eco resin, but less than Saraya tech, and about on par with Anycubic lower odor resins. I did not find it to be as easy to clean with water as other water cleanup resins, but it cleans acceptably with green type de-greasers. One of the fastest printing resins that I've used so far. Solid 4 star rating and if they could get the odor down to the level of other plant based resin's it'd be 5 stars.

For my first go-round with 3d printing, this resin was a great. It was a little smelly, but I didn’t need to consider having a bunch of alcohol around. All of the prints I got off of my used Mars were nicely rendered and cured well. I bought the Elegoo brand after I ran out of this Nova3D bottle, and...my prints literally turned to goo with the Elegoo resin. Nova3D spoiled me and I need to order more.

The Nova3D gray water washable was the first bottle resin I purchased after buying my printer.The bottle's package had quite a beating in transit, but after cleaning, the resin was still perfectly usable. The Nova3D team was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond.As for printing, as I said, this is my first time printing and I haven't had any failures. The smell isn't that strong and the cleaning process is straight forward.The detail I get from the HeroForge and Cape Wyrm models are amazing.So, overall I'm quite happy with the product.

I bought this at a really good price at the time and was happy with it. After trying other resins, this one is very hard and brittle almost like ceramic. I might have cured it for too long but dont really think so. Would purchase again but the price skyrocketed after purchase so who knows. The smell was very mild and was easy to clean up.
