Great Bed - Worth the Price
I have a 3 year old, 55lb athletic boxer who has gone through multiple beds since a puppy. Not because she eats them, but because they didn't hold up for one reason or another. This bed has held up through everything and is still as if it's brand new.Why I like this Bed:- The cover is removable - even off the bolster! This makes it really easy to wash and keeps it smelling fresh.- Microfiber material - Again, keeps this an easy to clean bed. Even if I'm not washing it, I can give it a once over with the vacuumed and it's hair free.- Thick memory foam bed - My 55lb dog lays on it and the bed doesn’t sink to the floor. The foam makes it soft enough for her to get comfortable in though. I myself have laid down on it and don't sink - honestly I fell asleep there with her once watching a movie.- It has the bolster - Though not a huge bolster, it's big enough for her to lean against and place her head over.- Big enough - I got the Large size (despite a Boxer being on the Medium) and glad I did. She has enough room to stretch out completely - I don't think she would have on the medium size. The only thing about the bed is that I don't think it is slip proof. She took it for a joy ride around my tile floor the first couple days she had it. Though now it's up against the wall part way on my living room throw rug and the tile so she it stays in place now. After nine months of a Boxer who plays with her toys on it, comes in sandy from the beach and lays on it, rolls all over it for a back massage and pounces on it for a laser pointer there has been no tears, wear down or foul smells. I'm very happy with this bed and will be buying a second for upstairs :)

Well Worth the Money!
I am so happy I purchased this bed! I am extremely happy with the quality and comfort for my dog. My Boxer is 11 years old, and 90 lbs, and we buy a new bed probably every 2 years. Never can find one with EVERY single wish for a bed, but this one comes extremely close! The main reason I decided on this particular one was the overall thickness. This is the thickest bed I have seen WITH a bolster, which my Boxer has always preferred. I agree it could be a bit longer to wrap around the bed, but he doesn't seem to care as much as I do. I think the bolster is actually thicker in person than in the pic. Also, the memory foam is really only the top 1 inch or so, and the rest is orthopedic foam, so the ad is a BIT misleading - BUT although I thought I would have wanted one entirely memory foam, now I realize it wouldn't be as good for joint support. It's just enough to give that "sinking-in" cozy feeling. At 90 lbs, he barely puts a dent in this bed - not like all the other beds I paid about the same or more for. He pretty much touched the floor on every other bed, and with his age, I just couldn't watch his discomfort anymore! He sleeps in it all day, and I swear my girls, age 9 and 6, would steal it if he ever left it! I would recommend to anyone with a larger or especially older dog.Note to manufacturer: a quiet waterproof liner inside the cover would be a great feature, especially for puppies, older dogs, or multi dog homes where marking could be an issue! We have them on all our people beds and it would be a great enhancement.

My dogs won't use it.
It seems like a very nice bed, but neither my 10 year old Newfoundland mix or my 3 1/2 year old white shepherd will use it. I took all the other beds away and then they just slept on the floor or the crate. I got on the bed (if it were larger, I might sleep on it) and pulled them on. They got up as soon as I did. I tried giving them treats to get on it and as soon as they finished the treats, they got up. I'm going to keep it in my bedroom in hopes that one of them will decide to like it.

Best Orthopedic Dog Bed I could find!
I searched all my local pet stores and other retailers and every bed that claimed to be orthopedic was pretty much a piece of egg crate foam and when I put any weight on it, it sunk right to the ground. I read reviews on line and other beds that claimed to be orthopedic seemed to have the same problem, not enough padding! Well if you have an older, larger dog (mine is only about 50 lbs) with arthritis or just starting to have joint issues you want the best quality bed out there. This bed is worth every penny! For one my dog loves it, she loves having the bolster to rest her head on too. It's so thick that I can lay on it and it still retains in shape! It's at least 6 inches of orthopedic padding. Hands down this is the best orthopedic bed that I could find anywhere without having to pay over $200! My dog will enjoy this for the rest of her days and I'm happy knowing she's comfortable!

GSMD bed
This bed is comfortable, and durable. The cover does come off to wash, but the bolster doesn't come out so I handwash it and airdry it. Others have complained if you drying in a dryer they have trouble fitting it back on properly. So I advise against drying in the dryer. Though I think it's well worth the money, the padding has held up and the fabric unlike so cheaper models.

Poor Quality and Misleading Listing
Very disappointed. The bed does not measure as listed-it is much, much thinner at only 3.5 in. It was packed so poorly that the bed will not lay flat and the bolster is completely flat and utterly useless. The bolster is not one piece of memory foam as is described in the Q&A section of the listing but rather shredded material in a paper like fabric cover. The color is nice as as pictured. The backing material is very thin paper like material without any anti-skid properties as described in the listing. I have had many dog beds and would not recommend this one to anyone.
