Furby Pink and Blue Hearts Boom Plush Toy

This toy is smaller than I thought it would be, but still very cute. It's one that takes some getting used to though as it can be a bit overly excited and when my child gets tired of playing with it she seems agitated by this. The app that works with the toy is really cool and works pretty well. One must have a bit of patience with the app's scanning of the toy however, as it doesn't always work immediately. But, my 9 year old has figured out it's tricks very quickly and has hours of fun with it. I usually have to turn it off for her as we need to pull it's tail and it cries when you do that :-( My daughter makes me be the bad guy of that task. Overall it's a fun toy and you just can't take it too seriously, but it does what it says it will do and that's what I like in an electronic toy.

My daughter just turned 5, and I had no idea what to get her. Luckily, Amazon sent me an email reminder with suggestions based on the wishlist I keep for her. So, here I was at the last minute ordering her gift knowing that I probably wasn't going to have it in time (traumatic to a five-year-old). I placed the order anyway, having no better ideas. The seller (whom I messaged to explain and see where it was shipping from to get an idea when it would arrive), pulled strings and went above and beyond to make sure that I received it in time. GREAT BIG THANK-YOU!!! Also, this is probably the best birthday gift she's ever gotten. And we find it fairly easy to make it return to our favorite personality. "Can I get a what-what!?"Love this thing!

It arrived 2 days before my birthday which is December 7, and I'm ecstatic. I collect Furbys and I'm glad that I now have the Boom to add to my collection. It's soft and extremely cute. However, I won't be interacting with it until after Christmas. I'm extremely glad I got this on sale. The one I really want, the Pink and White Polka Dot is now $72.99. I definitely can't pay that much for a Boom.I can't wait to see how this Furby interacts. My original (first) Furby told me I was boring. I immediately took out the batteries and placed it back in the box. I don't need a toy to tell me I'm boring. So I'm looking forward to using my IPod App with this one. I hope it learns lots of English and likes music.

She loves her "cutie". Grandma made a huge score when she bought this. However, the first furby didn't work correctly, so we had to replace it. Amazon made it so easy that we received the second Furby within a few days, and Amazon actually sent the postal carrier back to pick up the damaged one, so no hassle on my end. Well, I warned my 8 year old that it was a toy she'd play with for a few weeks and then get tired of and she swore up and down "no, no! I promise I'll play with it all the time! They're so much fun!" Got this on a fire sale before Christmas, and when she opened it, she was overjoyed. Two weeks later, it was sitting in the back of the closet, as predicted. It works like it's supposed to, makes all the annoying noises it claims to and does in fact dance when you put it close enough to a speaker. It changes personality when you play with it, or don't play with it. Beware the creepy old man personality... rather disturbing. Anyway, I'm giving it 3 stars because it does work and do everything it's supposed to do, but really, save your sanity and your money and get your kid something they'll play with for longer... like a card board box.

I did not want to get my daughter a Furby this year because she has asked for the very same thing last Christmas but seeing her face every time she saw the commercial and hearing her say over and over again that she was gonna ask Santa for it this year again, I had no choice but to buy the thing haha. Let me tell you, she has NOT stop playing with it, she likes playing with the Furby Boom app and spends a long time hatching eggs and playing with the Furblings. I find the thing amazing as well and honestly it is an interesting toy. LOVED the heart design too.

I find myself playing with this more then my 3 year old daughter. It does little to keep younger kids entertained but then again it's rated at 6+. I've noticed that out of the blue when I play with this thing. It's changes from the youngish sounding girl to a British guy that's rather obnoxious. I would suggest that if you get it for a kid under 6, you only let them play with it around adult supervision. Otherwise, you might have a kid running around saying and doing a few things new very fast :)

Our girls 9 and 6 love their new Furby Booms! These are super cute, and lots of fun. The only drawback is they seem to drain 4AA batteries in a couple weeks. (each!) Wish these things had a plug in charger. Also the Furby Boom App that can interacts with these toys does NOT work with the Kindle Fire HDX tablets. It does work on android smart phones though. So keep that in mind if you are buying with the app in mind. Overall lots of fun!
