Literally the niacinamide serum I’ve been waiting for, and I’m obsessed.If you’re anything like me, you stumbled upon @bauerbeauty on TikTok, then maybe followed her to Instagram and YouTube. Her deep knowledge of anti-aging skincare for sensitive skin (something I have) while also leaning more towards affordable skincare products are what hooked me instantly. Not only did she teach me which products to buy, she taught me how to use them. I already had so many good products in my medicine cabinet, but never knew the order and the days and times to use them. Her vast knowledge changed the look and feel of my 31-year-old skin in the first week - and one month later I’m literally glowing. So with evidence-based support from my skin alone, I knew I could trust her judgement about her own formulation. Like, she won’t put her name on a product with irritants or anything that would disrupt that moisture barrier I now crave.This product does not disappoint. I was originally using The Ordinary’s niacinamide serum and it made my skin sticky and chalky (like it would peel the product when I tried to apply my makeup over it). In the photo you can see how thick and rich her serum is, plus if you watch her YouTube channel she tells you HOW to use it - which is the free gift we all didn’t know we needed.Thank you, @bauerbeauty, for this and for the product education. I discovered Jen on tiktok while aimlessly browsing, and i cannot tell you how thankful i am to have found her. Jen gives amazing advice for literally everyone with every skin type or concern. While watching one video she was talking about various products with niacinamide. She mentioned she would have her own niacinamide serum in the ranks. Because i have sensative skin and deal with psoriasis the added zinc as well as the niacinamide sounded amazing. I have been using it for over a month now and i cannot tell you how happy i am!!!! My skin looks and FEELS healtheir. Ive seen a significant decrease in subaceous filaments, my fine lines and wrinks are starting to disappear, i no longer have a greasy T zone & dry everythinf else, i feel the elasticity returning to my face, and i even see a decrease in the dark puffy circles under my eyes. I am a single mom, CNA, full time student and deal with psoriasis and many other health issues, finding good products on a budget is very difficult but i am so happy i found this serum, I plan to buy the peptide serum to use in my night routine, and cannot wait to see what Jen Bauer and her brand comes up with next!!!! My skin looks so Dewey and nourished. I have impossibly acne prone sensitive combo skin. This did NOT break my prickly skin out! I also have CocoKind barrier serum but think this is even better. I’m getting her glycolic peel and barium serum now because I trust this brand 😍

I was really looking forward to trying this product because I love the Bauer Beauty brand. I am obsessed with Jennifer‘s TikTok videos and I couldn’t wait to support her. When I first opened the bottle I immediately took the dropper and applied a few drops on my face.As I started rubbing the serum on my face I noticed that it had a strong mildew-like odor. I thought that perhaps bottle that I received may have been expired even though the expiration date on the bottom of the bottle showed a date in the year 2022. Either way, I left the serum on.The next day I tried to apply the serum again but I couldn’t deal with the terrible odor. I figured I could contact Amazon to see if they could send me a replacement bottle if I returned the one I had and they did. (I didn’t realize until after I had sent back the serum that the questions section addresses the odor and that it’s normal.)When I received the replacement bottle it had a different top; instead of a dropper it had a pump so I thought maybe this one would be different. When I tried second serum it had the same odor. I’m going to keep the serum but I have a strong sense of smell and the odor really bothers me.The consistency is nice however I am disappointed in the scent. The serum is primarily clear with a cloudy tone. I don’t mind that but I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Some customer photos show the serum as being clear. I most likely won’t purchase this product again due to the odor but I would still be open to trying other Bauer Beauty products in the future.

Overall I like this serum, it's fragrance free and feels nice on the skin while it's absorbing. I use it on damp skin after my cleanser and it hasn't broken me out. I only dock a star because I thought it would come in the bottle with the pump and I got a dropper bottle, the dropper doesn't grab a lot of product at once so that's kind of annoying, but it's not so much that I'm going to return it because of that.

Love this product starts a little thick but rubs in nice and isn’t sticky. It does have a strong smell to it due to the zinc (I think) but nothing that is super overwhelming or lingers during the day. I use it with her collagen peptide serum as well EVERYDAY and the combination had completely changed the hydration of my skin and acne is almost completely gone. Found Bauer Beauty on tik tok and my skin has never been better! —- side note I am in MN did receive the serum on a below 30 day and wasn’t able to grab it right away. I think it may have changed the consistently at the initial opening a little because my dropper is damaged and doesn’t pick up or drop the serum very well.. I think it’s from opening while it was so cold and possibly frozen.

Everybody should know that Niacinamide over 5% is too much to handle. More is not better. Bauer Beauty is run by a brilliant aesthetician. I looked up all of the simple ingredients and they are all so lovely for the skin. I will definitely buy this again!
