The device is definitely smaller than I expected. When the box arrived I was surprised even though I did read that in several comments. I’ve included a picture of it next to the ac plug for scale so you can see the size. Notwithstanding it think it’s small size is also its strength. First the intent of it is to record discreetly. It easily blends in with the rest of the household items and looks like a digital clock rather than a typical alarm clock; thus making it more versatile for placement in the kitchen or living room rather than confining it for use in the bedroom. Also it records great videos. The app allows you to replay videos or broadcast videos live through a Wi-Fi connection which is super convenient. Most devices require you to take the SD card out which is a pain. If you want the audio to work you’ll need to install a separate software which is easy to do and totally worth the small effort. Customer service is unparalleled. Great support from the vendor and they’re prompt.

This thing is worthless! It won’t work properly and it won’t stay online. If you’re needing this product to work for you, don’t waste your time or money. The instructions are horrible, it took forever to set up! And it’s tiny! It will fit in the palm of your hand! Very disappointed!!!!!!

Hi! I purchased this product 2 months ago and I have been using it since. It took me initial setup more than half an hour because of the pairing the camera with my phone was not as smooth as the video shows!! It was a little bit of a hassle. After that everything was pretty smooth except one time the camera did not read my SD card but the customer service (which was great) send me a new SD card (I purchased the other one separately) and it was back to business! One other time camera was off line somehow but after turning it off then on it was online again! The color and picture quality is not great but fine! The customer service is really helpful and efficient. Overall, I recommend this camera to anybody wants to make sure everything is secure in the house or anywhere else. I am satisfied with it and comparing to the price it does what you need from it! I would definitely buy it again!

Came defective and without QR code attempted to manually connect to the app and was unable to connect. Aside from flashing clock and beeping noise it did nothing else. After two hours of attempting to get it to connect I hit the return product button. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS PRODUCT!

As you might have noticed, there are several sellers selling very similar clock cams on Amazon. This one feels substantially heavier and has a perceived better build quality. It also includes a battery, a power block, and a tool to open the back cover, while others often don’t include all of those accessories.The set up says to charge it for 3 hours before setting up. It’s true -- make sure to follow that or it won't work properly. Once the battery is charged, the app is relatively easier to set up. Can’t say the same for its direct competitors.The app is also easy to use. Launches fast, video feed comes thru quicky with okay lag. But the function is limited and you can’t manually adjust picture quality. It does also has audio.Cons:Video quality is severely compromised. Colors are not accurate – everything has a purple tint to it. Gray shirt looks purple, green blanket also looks purple.Field of view is small – no wide-angle lens. Resolution is mediocre.• Build quality: 3.5 stars• App design: 3 stars• Image quality: 0.5 star• Audio: 3 stars• Overall: 2.5 starsI returned it in the end, because another very similar product is better. Keep looking on Amazon.

Had to get this because my brother keeps coming into my room and stealing my things. My biggest concern is how easy it is to see the camera if someone wants to inspect it. The screen is very reflective, but in certain lighting or angles, the camera is visible, especially up close. This isn't a problem if the camera is used for home security, but in my case, my brother may be savvy enough to check it, so it is a worry. Because if he finds out it's a camera, the whole thing is useless.Pros:-Decent video quality for the price. I had low expectations and I'm not experienced enough to know if this is really 1080P, but it's good enough to make out faces from across the room.-A lot smaller than I expected, about the size of my fist. I wasn't sure if this was a pro or a con at first, since most clocks I've seen are bigger than this. But hopefully its smaller size will make it less noticeable.-Captures an image upon motion detection. I thought this would only be live feed or recordings, but the fact that it screen caps any time it senses motion is awesome.-Night vision works! It's not perfect or high tech by any means, but the light from the camera gives off enough to help. Can still clearly see the room and what's happening.-Easy set up, just read the directions carefully.Cons:-Visible camera-Feed is a bit laggy, about 3-4 seconds behind what's happening live. However, this is most likely due to my wifi and not the camera itself.-The screen is a bright blue and it kind of hurts my eyes.-Once the clock turns to midnight, instead of saying 12:15, it will say 00:15. Small annoyance but still, I feel like it takes away from the authenticity of it.-Charging cable is only about 2 feet long, so I had to buy a small extension cord to put it on top of my 4ft bookshelf.Note that you will need an SD card in order to record footage automatically, but you can still record from your phone if you are watching live. The motion detector sends a notification any time it senses something, in which case you could quickly go to the live feed and see or record whatever is happening.Only thing I wish it had is more actual clock functions. Even if there were just buttons there that didn't do anything, for the alarm and volume and stuff like that, it would add to the authenticity that it is only a clock and not a camera.
