NEW Spill and Splash Resistant Lid with Slider Closure for 30 oz. Tumblers - Fits YETI Rambler Perfectly

When I first brought this I wasn't happy with it and I wrote a somewhat negative review. I have used it every day since. Yes if it is knocked over it leaks a little before you get it picked up. I've discovered that this cup is so well made that it is hard to tip over. I sit it in my purse going to church on Sunday and it never spills. Same with shopping, it travels well. I really like this lid.

The media could not be loaded. We recently moved to Florida and we spend a lot of time at the beach. When you spend a lot of time at the beach, you need to have tumblers and drinks to keep you hydrated! Most of the time we will take out tumblers down with us so that way the ice doesn't melt and our drinks stay cold while we relax!This lid is awesome! The standard lid that comes with these cups can be a pain in the butt if you try and put it in the cooler. It usually spills or leaks somehow or water gets into it. With this lid you're able to close off the lid and keep everything out. Love it! I purchased this lid as a replacement for the Wal-Mart Ozark Trail 30z tumbler. I wanted the ability to use a straw but more importantly have some protection against inadvertent spills and splashes with it being on a stroller. The fit is very good, the seal around the rim / perimeter is excellent, definitely no leaks there. The plastic is clear and allows you to see the contents and its level with ease.The locking / sliding mechanism is functional for what it is advertised to do. It is NOT an anti-leak lid and it does not seal it when closed. What it does do is prevent inadvertent spills if it is knocked around, or gives you a few seconds to pick it up if you knock it over. If you fill it, close the slider and then tip it upside down it is going to continually leak, so if your intention is to get one and put it inside your back to prevent leaking..... it will not work for you. I think that is the issue with many of the reviews.Personally I think this could easily be remedied with a little rubber coating on the edges of the slider that allows it to create a good solid seal with the outer rim of the lid. But again, I did not purchase it thinking it would do this.I purchased it to use around Disney World to keep drinks and ice for my kids while allowing me to mitigate spills from being bobbed around in the stroller. It worked a treat. I coupled it with a stainless Starbucks straw and that combo allowed the kids to drink copious amounts of fluid without the worries of spilling it through the original lid.

I purchased 2 and I put it on my Yeti, filled it, closed the slider and turned it upside down to see if it indeed was spill resistant and...... water dribbled all over my floor from out of the slider. No leaks from the around the rim but the slider is where the issue is. And as I read in one questioned answered....I would not put it in a backpack either.

It is a decent lid purchased for the Rambler Yeti. The fit is tight and prevents little splashes on the way to work. It isn't a totally leak proof lid but it does serve its purpose. It helps keep tea hit and reduces splashes.

Not leak proof, but it doesn't advertise to be. But it fits both my RTIC and my Big Boss like a champ. Helps keep dust out if I am out jeeping, keeps it from splashing, and keeps it from any major spills. Even when my container was full, when it got knocked over, only drops came out, and I may not have had the slider tight.

This product makes no sense. Yes, it is a great fit for the Yeti 30oz, but the sliding lid part does not lock or stay put into place...If the lid is slid over the drinking hole and my cup spills over perfectly on that side and does not roll, then yes maybe it will stop water from coming out, but forget having it fall any other way. The sliding rectangle part will automatically slide any which way gravity asks and will not prevent any spill. Do not get product.

Love the slide on it for closure. Fit is snug,,, sometimes a bit too snug but better safe than sorry. Has gone through dishwasher with no problems but I try to hand wash most of the time so as not to degrade the rubber rings.Fits the Rtic 30 oz cup.
