The Wall Jack Kit contains a phone cord and five (5) modular adapters. --- If you have traditional phone service from your local telephone company and have multiple telephones connected to wall jacks throughout your house, this Wall Jack Kit allows you to use your telephones, with the Guardian or Guardian BT, on the second (unused) line in your wall jacks. --- You must have only one phone service connected to your house to use this Wall Jack Kit. For each telephone, plug an adapter into the wall jack, and using your telephone's phone cord, connect your telephone to the L2 jack on the adapter. --- To hook up the Guardian or Guardian BT, plug an adapter into a wall jack, and using the provided phone cord, connect the Guardian's LANDLINE jack to the adapter's L1 jack. Then connect one of the Guardian's PHONE jacks to the L2 jack on the adapter.
