The age old saying, buy cheap then buy twice.The screw that was meant to come out lasted longer than the gadget to remove it.

Didn't manage to remove the hex bolts I baught them for, but I suspect the bolt heads were too soft, as they were softer than the alan key that stripped them. But seems to work on wood screws.

I have received the above damaged screw removal tools but can only comment at this time by observation and not by usage. They arrived well packed in their own box. They are fairly weighted and look fit for purpose. I have given 4 stars as an estimated guide and not a true guide these when used maybe 5 stars or poor depending on ability to remove broken/ damaged screws effectively. Value for money well I believe for the set on Amazon prime day for under £6 they were worth it. Time will tell when used I will add to this post when I eventually use them and either increase the stars or decrease as I see fit. Stripped screws are the Bain of my life. And there is always one in any DIY project. I bought these in the hope of removing a screw in a kitchen cupboard. They are great value for money and didn’t break in any way while using them; they are made of strong material. But for the life of me I could not get them to work. User error cannot be ruled out.Let me tell you though I would not be defeated by this screw. Two tantrums and one snapped cupboard handle later...that screw is out. Because there is one thing a screw cannot escape - a bigger hole than it went it to. I threw that screw in the bin with pleasure and sat triumphantly eating kettle chips. Now I must leave you to wood fill the bigger hole I created.

Good value pleased with product

The product works well but must be used in an anticlockwise direction. I believe most power drills work in a clockwise direction which would mean that the bits provided wouldn't work. I used them in an electric screwdriver set to 'unscrew' (anticlockwise) and they worked well. One more thing - do watch out for the small metal shards that are produced - they can be painful if you get one in your finger tip.
