Is face opening on this large enough to keep under my chin comfortably?

It really depends on your face shape. It is one of our more open face masks so most likely just fine. You might be better looking at one of our hinged face masks as they will work much better for that. (Rogue balaclava, shadow balaclava)

Perfect quality and warm cant beat Klim

Definitely on the smaller side

The material is great, my helmet slips on and off easily, there is no wind chill on my neck, and it feels comfortable. However the balaclava is small, for me it covers my chin and not my entire face which isn't an issue for me. It also requires a tighter collar of a shirt or jacket to stay in place. I would definitely recommend some stays to hold it in place. DO NOT pin it in place, that will destroy the material.

Lightweight

The stitching around the face was very tight and I had to rip stitches out to not feel like my face was being scrunched. It was also putting too much pressure on my nose before ripping the stitches. Besides this, the mask is lightweight and wonderful for using under a snowmobile helmet.
