Works as advertised, looks great, works great, feels even better.
Summary: Great wallet for anyone, perfect for me. I've been using it for 2 months now. Easy to carry in the front pocket of your slim fit jeans, looks exactly like in the pictures, very elegant. I recommend this wallet if you don't use much cash, ideally if you only carry 3 bills with you, and if you can reduce the amount of cards you carry to 10 or less, including ID and memberships. I keep rarely used cards in the car (like membership cards that I use once a month). The down side: the card kept in the front pocket is hard to pull out because the "smart strap" above it stops it from sliding out if you use your thumb to drag it out with friction. You have to use your index finger get a grab along with your thumb, that way you can raise it and pull it out; that's not an option if you have chubby fingers. You can also pull the "smart strap" and hold it up with your left thumb, then with your right thumb you pull the card out with friction. Neither option is confortable enough to keep your most used card in there, but you can use it though, it's not a deal breaker.About the amount of cards it can hold. I keep exactly 10 cards in my wallet: 4 credit cards, ID, License, Memberships, among others.I keep 2 cards on back pocket, another card on front pocket (less frequently used), and 7 cards in the middle pocket (including 4 credit cards which are thicker than normal because of the raised numbers). So far it hasn't stretched and the cards remain in place even when I hold the wallet upside down; If I shake it while upside-down the cards do slowly come out, but there's no scenario in real life where you put your wallet upside down, holding it on the sides to avoid having a grip of the cards inside, and shaking it.About the leather. It is high quality leather, I really recommend you buy this one instead of cheaper $10-15 dollars options because of this. It is showing signs of wear, but in quality leather wallets like this one, that only adds to its beauty. Regular (bigger) wallets get worse in less time, because the corners start to bend, plus the friction of pulling a bulky wallet out of your tight pockets damage further the leather.About the "smart strap" and middle pocket. I quote "smart strap" because it's a simple elastic strap which retracts back to its place when released. It's easy to pull, it has a good grip and gets the job done. The middle pocket is easy to use, you can put the most used cards on front and back of cards in middle pocket, that way it's a matter of: pulling the strap, pulling the card, pushing the rest back into the pocket. You do have to spread the cards to get the one you need in the middle, but again, not difficult, not messy and really, how many times a day you use each one of your 10 cards. You can organize it so the top 4 most used cards get really accessible.About the RFID protection. The middle pocket is RFID protected, and works as advertised, I tried using my subway card with the RFID reader and it didn't work, I had do pull the card half-way out of the middle pocket so it could read it. I tried putting the card in the front pocket, weirdly enough it didn't read it. I tried it with the card inside my old wallet and it read it inmediately. They claim only the middle pocket is RFID protected but in my experience, the front pocket also was protected. Don't take my word for granted here, perhaps my case is an exception, perhaps the back pocket isn't protected and there you can keep your RFID card, and perhaps it was a one time event, but the wallet in the middle pocket is consistent because I've tried it several times on different readers, including my work RFID reader.I'll get back here with an update after 5 months. Let's hope for the best.

Great color, sturdy construction, great elastic pull tab, and perfect slim wallet for my needs
Initially, I thought this wallet held 10 cards in the center compartment - maybe I didn’t read the description correctly (likely because it was a lightning deal), but I had zero intentions of placing 10 total cards in the wallet, let alone the center compartment. I have my 3 insurance cards in the vertical outer pocket, my drivers license in the horizontal outer/cash pocket, and 4 credit/debit cards in the center pocket. To me, this feels like the ideal setup to keep the structural integrity for the longest amount of time. I may be wrong, but the inner pocket seems to be the only part that is truly RFID blocked, so the item picture showing the AmEx in the outer compartment seems silly. Put that bad boy in the middle! The elastic pull tab seems very sturdy and adept at pulling 4 cards from the center with ease, but because it is still very new, I can’t speak to its long term durability. For now, I love it and it’s great. As for the color, I love, love, LOVE the cognac color and the leather feels durable but not super soft like a lambskin wallet. To me, this is ideal because I bought this wallet to replace a Louis Vuitton lambskin wallet that I had to be more cautious of protecting than my phone. The value for this wallet really cannot be best if you’re looking for a sturdy, compact, slim wallet with RFID protection.

My new favorite wallet
6 month update- Still works great and no issues of tearing or stretching too muchPros: extremely minimal and compactEasily fit 5 cards in middle, 2 in front, and the back I use for folded cash 8 bills US and 3 quarters.RFID protected middle works I tested it on a few tap to pay machines and every time it wouldn’t scan unless I took it out of the wallet.I use the front pocket for my IDs and it doesn’t interfere with the pull strapThe pull strap works well but the elastic and some other review have me pulling it cautiously because I do imagine if you yank on it too hard or quick it could break but so far no issuesCons: the wallet does stretch to the amount of cards you put in it but I wouldn’t even call that an issue really as ALL leather wallets do that and there are some tutorials if you decide you want to go back and reduce your current card space but overall even after keeping 5 cards in it 4 still stay in place fairly well. The front pocket is very tight but that’s also a good thing because you don’t want anything falling out and if you just put your ids there you’ll rarely need it frees up space in the main slotOverall: It’s way better than any wallet I’ve had and saves on so much space in my pocket

18 Month Review
I've been using the Vaultskin wallet for about 18 months. The leather is holding up very well, but the elastic strap broke after about a month of use. That makes it slightly less convenient to get out a card, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm still happy with it. I'm not wearing any more holes in the back pocket of my jeans like I used to when I used a regular full-size wallet. It fits nicely in a front pocket and is barely noticeable. Space is limited but adequate. It makes you realize that you were previously carrying around a lot of unnecessary stuff. In the Vaultskin I carry two medical cards, a credit card, a bank card, driver's license, medicare card and a few folded bills. This still leaves space for another card or so without overpacking it. The wallet has also survived a couple of accidental washing machine cycles with no permanent damage.
