Sword Art Online Platinum Collector's Edition Hardcover – 15 Dec. 2020

I had not read any of sword art online before this and had watched only a little of the anime, this is also my first entry into light novels and im enjoying what ive read so far. This platinum effort takes the 1st 20 books of the series and puts them into a really well presented collection, extremely well printed, great artwork in the book and on the included poster and art cards. the books themselves are massive taking in 10 books each - they are hardback with a ribbon bookmark and come with hardish plastic protector covers - the whole lot is cased in a lovely box with artwork from artist ABEC who illustrated the whole series .. again worth the steep cost of entry - anybody who is a fan of japanese light litrature owes it to themselves to read this series and this set is a good way to read most of the series in one place (book 21 has been published)

Have been a fan of SAO ever since the Anime, in fact it was what got me into the series to begin with so being able to finally read the light novels is something I'm excited about finally doing. The quality of this product is second to absolutely none, the outer case holding both books inside it looks and feels incredible. That art on the front equally looks amazing and so clean.The posters you get of each light novel cover is of a very high quality as well.Both Hard cover books look and feel incredible to the touch and are housed in their own protective PVC sleeves for extra protection. You really get bang for your buck here, I purchased this collection myself at a discounted price and even still I cannot recommend it enough if you're a fan of the anime series.So in closing, it's worth a purchase that is for sure.

This was honestly such a brilliant purchase. I got it right when it came out, and it was really enjoyable, the two massive books are protected and feel real high quality, and all of the posters that come with it are a brilliant addition.If you are a massive fan of sword art online, then I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing this if you are wanting a collectors item.If you have all of the volumes of SAO already separately, then you will find that a lot of the chapters are the same, but this time they take the SAO series, split it into two and then place them into two beautifully feeling massive books.

First of all this set is cheaper than buying the light novels individually. Secondly you get loads of art prints which are done to a high standard. Having worked in the print industry I don't say that lightly. The editorial design of the layout is really well thought out and the typefaces used are very easy to read particularly for long periods of time. The art work throughout is fantastic. I really recommend this as purchase for any fan.

Great collectors edition if your a big fan of Sword Art Online like me. Comes with 20 super high quality posters of the Novel covers that would look amazing in frames. I was worried about not being able to read the text properly but thankfully the text isnt too small and its easy to read.

Little heavy overall but imo it adds to the value and I love it ❤️
