DAEDALUS CNC Router Machine 3018 Max, 3 Axis, 200w Spindle, All Aluminum Frame

This 3018 cnc router appears to be better built and more heavy duty than most of the others. The main machine is all aluminum with the lead screws and guide rods being metal. No plastic parts like most other machines of this type. Plastic is something that you do not want on one of these. The quality control on the individual parts is good. Most of this machine is pre-assembled, but you have to check all screws for tightness. Every single screw on my machine was pretty much finger tight. Just remember as you tighten them they are threaded into aluminum and can be stripped if not careful. The assembly instructions are pretty plain, lots of pictures. The software instructions are not so good, written in Chinglish. Its not bad though, pretty easy to figure out. For a machine coming out of China I am quite surprised and pleased with the quality. Actually better than I expected. I have not yet cut with the machine. I am doing mods such as limit switches, homing switch, spoilboard, etc. I will update this review after I have cut with it. As heavy duty as it is built, I am confident I will be pleased with its performance. If you buy a 3018 cnc router just make sure you get one that does not use plastic parts. They may work ok, but an all metal machine just seems more up to the task that this machine will be asked to perform.
