Absolute Nerdfest
So headline says nerdfest but in truth this is out and out a nerdgasm. Loved the take on mythology in a Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac in US) fashion. Loved the Gundam influences as well with the mechs and their unique abilities. The story holds a lot of promise for things to come with interesting character interactions, backgrounds, fights as well. I've seen comparisons in reviews to the Power Rangers and while I can see what those review means I honestly feel there's more anime and manga influences than just the Power Rangers, though could easily see the MC as a sort of "Tommy Oliver" character. Only issue that I had was interactions early on with characters but that passes very fast when the story picks up. I really also enjoyed the truly human decisions that you see the characters make in the story. Like acting out of initial fear and wanting security and safety above all. Speaks highly to the hierarchy of needs and how we all might react towards these situations. Cannot wait for more, even at time of writing this 2 is out, I'd buy a full 10 volumes at once if they published tomorrow, it's really that good if you love games, anime, manga, myths and legends, and adult situations. Yes there are adult scenes that are very well done, descriptive, but more importantly they add to the story and characters instead of defining them. Really I enjoyed all of this book, and I'm looking forward to more!

Juliet is no scientist, Taurus is a jerk, but its a fun story
I found the start a bit off-putting. Juliet just wasn't a nice character and worse, was the kind of bad scientist character that I feel ruins a good story. Worse when the first 2 Zodiac warriors show up, one proves to be a complete jerk. But somehow, the plot and the main character held the overall story together. Its interesting with a rather well weaved backstory that manages to incorporate myth and legend into a parallel universe's version of today that mostly works. (the fact that the media doesn't go ape when giant robots appear always has me shaking my head with this type of story.)As an origin tale and a general "save the world' tale, this one just worked. Even with characters that I felt didn't really work. So 4 stars and I was enthusiastic to read book 2.

Power Rangers meets Saint Seiya in a sexy action romp
The book starts off quick and doesn't really let up. Characters are introduced as the story dictates and personal traits details are filled in as the plot moves along, so you get a good feel for them as the story goes. All the people that we're introduced to have unique personalities and dispositions that are written well enough to stay with you.Conversely, some of the fight scenes seem to go on for a beat or two longer than they should, and the GameLit elements feel like they're there simply to be there. A fair amount of the books story is a collection of tropes, specifically anime, so make sure your in the mood for that before you start reading.Overall an enjoyable book, I would recommend giving it a chance if you are into Sentai, Anime, and the like.

Not a story so much as an episode
No real climax or traditional 3-act structure here. The climax actually happens in the middle, in a fight that admittedly goes a little to deep into the moves and not enough into the character. The narration tended to lack personality in the battle, which by the end I was skipping sections of it to get to the dialog, where I knew the character would be. Hence, not quite 5 stars.Neat little "ancient aliens" concept here with the mecha. Curious to see what Typhon will look like, given how he was depicted in the ancient myths these aliens inspired.

Classic Good versus Evil
I enjoyed this book was a little slow but very enjoyable. Bo and the girls get together and learn about the powers they share . First Bo gets abducted by Juliet then they discover he is the Solar King. He has to fight and defeat the Bad Guys and discovers the girls during the fight . Very interesting good to keep the mind occupied

Interesting
A good take on mechs and mythology, with a harem twist. Though the book says only 12 zodiacs plus solar king, one has to wonder if bo will meet either his chinese zodiac counterpart and their harem of zodiacs as well or if the 12 chinese zodiac signs join bo and his harem of zodiacs. While i would like that very much, i realize the author might have trouble with writing 24 books and keeping them all intertwined and interacting with each other. Keep up the good work!

Throwing out a 5 star so that we get more books!
I liked this story. I liked the tie-in to Ancient Greek mythology and I liked the potential for story expansion. I did not particularly like how 2 dimensional the characters were, nor how they seemed to keep flip-flopping their personalities all the time. I also didn’t particularly care for the MC who, for all intents and purposes was/is a nobody with no skill background at all, but upon discovering his “power suit” is suddenly a martial arts expert and a tactical genius.....weird. Nonetheless, looking forward to future novels

So far so good
It was a pretty good book series so far but I have only read the first volume as of this review so I can't really say a lot more than this

Different
This was quite a bit different from what I've read. Although it was a rather enjoyable story, and an interesting twist on things.

Hmm transformers
Enough uniqueness to the story, but also a bit of transformers. A scientist who jump the gun releasing a great old evil on the world, then have to fix it. I will read no 2 if it comes out so far 3 of 12 found
