I got this harness for a somewhat feral kitten that I had been fostering. This helped me to keep her close to me in order to get used to me. She wasn't able to get out of it and seemed to be okay with it. It helped greatly in her becoming not-feral. The strap sizes (width) is good...not too wide or too narrow. She was also fond of chewing on the leash some and I can barely see any damage. So, it's sturdy. It was a little too big for her so I did just twisted the straps a couple of times and it fit great.

This is a great harness for an older or adult cat. It is well-made and seems to be comfortable for my cat. The color and design is cute on my orange kitty.

Just be advised that neither the top or bottom loops (around the neck/ around the midsection of the pet) is permanently attached to the piece that connects top and bottom. This makes for more flexibility in placement and fit, but makes it rather cumbersome every time you put it on. You have to re-insert the neck and body loops often as they slip and slide.Again, may not be a bad thing if you want flexibility in sizing.

I’m pretty upset with myself that I waited so long to try this one. Sometimes simple is better which is the case with this. My 6 month old cat is literally incapable of slipping out of this and doesn’t even try whereas other harnesses we’ve had would come right off. Haven’t tried with my bigger cat yet bc he comes and goes as he pleases so not sure if size makes a difference here but I don’t see why it would.

Our cat is not harness trained, she's a stray who adopted us. and she hates a collar, let alone a harness.This product might work better for a cat that is not used to running or roaming. It took about 2 times on the harness for her to figure out if she goes far enough to make it 'tight' leash, she can flip around backwards and back herself out of the harness in a SPLIT SECOND - we almost lost her!The range of motion is awesome, and the comfort & sturdiness is just fine for our 7 lb cat.It's just not escape proof, AT ALL.

I moved to a new place and wanted this to help my cat get used to the new area, but the second we got outside and felt a tug for the first time she rolled up into a ball of fury and got of the harness in about 5 seconds and ran off into the woods, and haven’t seen her in two weeks. My anger wants me to rate this lower, but I realize that I may have needed to tighten the collar and waste straps more, but maybe to a level of discomfort for my cat to make sure it stayed on and she stayed in and you may need to do the same.
