Given the low price, I had very low expectations for the quality of this jacket. However, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and robustness. It is a serious riding jacket! The cordura-like outer shell is heavy duty, abraision-resistent. The protective shoulder, elbow, and back panels are firm rubber for impact and skid protection. The removable inner liner makes it a decent cold-weather jacket (which I don't need), and once removed, the outer shell is still sturdy but lighter for warm weather riding. I'm impressed. (I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, and the medium fit well. It is a bit wide but long enough in the arms.)

Let's be honest here. Yes, it doesn't cost a lot. It ain't no $900 Track Suit.But honestly, I am a bit surprised how well it functions and the features..Its got a removeable liner, pocket spaces, vents you can open or close, removeable/replaceable armor. fits right..It checks all the boxes.. Haven't gone down with one on, but A) the goal is not to and B) Somethin' is better than nothin'

I was skeptical due to the low price. This is a good ridding jacket. Is comfortable and good quality. For me the size seems to run a little big. The armor in the jacket is a little thinner then my old Jacket. I really like this jacket. This has minimal armor and i wouldn't recommend for track day. Every day ridding is fine. I am very happy with this jacket.

I picked up a used dual sport while on vacation and wanted some inexpensive gear. Well, I’m impressed with the quality of the alpha riding jacket and pants it Rivals others that are four and five times more expensive. Not 100% rainproof But at least I didn’t get soaked riding for an hour in the rain. Thank you, Alpha for a quality inexpensive product!!

I wear this jacket every time I go out for a ride. I definitely love how the armored padding covers both sides of the joint for your shoulders and elbows. It’s actually a decent bit of coverage. The back piece is nice too.As of right now I just wear jeans with some hard plastic kneepads with some decent boots and leather gloves as well as my helmet.If this company could make a similar product for pants at a similar price point I’d definitely consider purchasing it.It can get a bit hot in it but with riding all the air flow acts as a great AC unit haha. Plus I’d rather feel a little muggy then deal with serious road rash if I were to get into a wreck.I see people ride in sleeveless T’s and shorts and honestly just shows a lack of discipline. There’s plenty of cars out there that are selfish and know if they get into a wreck it’s going to hurt you more as a rider than them and act accordingly.Rather be safe than sorry and this product helps achieve that.

Really great product for the price! True to size, bought a large, I can wear a hoodie underneath. Only issue, the inserts are a little thin.

Cons: Sizing (the Large is XL), and the red is lighter than I expected based on the photos. Provided armor feels a little awkward.Pros: Keeps me dry when it rains and warm at 28 degrees. Better than my leather jacket.

I WILL USE A COMPARISON BETWEEN THIS JACKET AND MY JOE KOOL JACKET.Fashion wise, it is a beautiful coat. Get compliments on the colour scheme too.I love the Velcro neck tab on the outside of the jacket and not on the liner. (My Joe Kool jacket has a snap on the tab of the liner. Very frustrating to use)With the armour in, it is much lighter than my Joe Kook jacket. (The Joe Kool jacket is very heavy with the armour in.)The quilted liner is excellent. (My Joe Kool jacket has a plain vinyl liner which may block the wind but does not keep you warm nor does it breath so you freeze & sweat when it is in.)Cons: The main zipper is tough to undo and redo. (this could simply be because it is brand new)Lots of room on the waist & chest but, the belly is tight. (they said to order one size bigger if you are big. Normally I take a 2X and ordered a 3X. The belly is still tight but lots of room on the chest and waist.)When you move your arms forward as to reach the handlebars, the shoulders are tight. (this just could be because it is new and needs to be broken in - I will update on this.)The pocket for a cell phone is too small. I cannot fit my Samsung A50 in the pocket even when the case is removed.There is no extra snap to hang your keys or spare keys inside the jacket. (My Joe Kool motorcycle jacket has this feature, and it comes in handy when going shopping and you can hang your keys inside your jacket.)Not sure if I will be able to wear it in July or August because there are only two vents on the chest for airflow. (My Joe Kool is mesh. When the liner is out, air goes right through the jacket.)It may work out to be strictly a spring, fall, and winter jacket. (I will update this when July and August roll around in 2024)Conclusion: Other than the fit being disappointing, I am generally happy with the coat. It is a beautiful coat and already getting lots of compliments on its looks.I just have to decide if I should exchange it for a 4X or wait to see if the material gives with wear.UPDATE ON THE FIT: It did not take long for the fit to stretch out. After one ride on the bike the shoulders and back stretched out to a good fit. In addition, it was -13 degrees with the wind chill. You add in the added wind chill from being on the bike going down the road, and you realize just how warm this jacket is. And the thing I loved the most about the jacket was the Velcro tab on the outside of the jacket. It completely blocked any cold wind going down your neck. Great jacket. Highly recommend.

Got into an accident lately and I can say it will be a matter of life or death it works amazing police and paramedics had to cut the gear to makeSure there were no injuries and said I probably would have died if I didn’t have the gear it is worth buying DONT cheap out and buy the gear !

Very good jacket for a fair non bloated price. It's going to be helpful with the protection,it's not the best safety gear but it's equal to pricing and if you need more protection you can still afford to upgrade to better. It fits well, 6'1 170-180lbs ordered size small and it fits like a glove. It doesn't get too hot even in 30°c weather especially with the removal thermal liner taken out. Can't say anything to rain proof but I'll find out. Pockets are useful except the phone one is for small older style phones but that's nothing to sweat it has other pockets that will hold it. Has all the adjustment sizing options to tighten or loosen. Great job ALPHA you do a fine job on affordable nice jackets 👍🏻.
