Bam&bü Women's Premium Bamboo Viscose No Show Casual Socks - 4 pair pack - Non-Slip

I have bought sooooo many different pairs of "no show" socks I can't even keep track of all of them. Some I bought on Amazon, some from Walmart, some from Target. For purposes of this review I'm going to mostly just talk about the 3 different pairs I bought on Amazon (since that's where you're shopping). Before I go into detail, I want to say that these socks ended up being my favorites. If that's all you need to hear, then buy them. If you want to know why and which others I tried, read on!First a little back ground, I am a biochemistry research scientist and the mother of an active autistic 4 year old, so I'm on my feet much of the day. Also, working in a lab means I have to wear closed toe shoes every day. Needless to say I make a good guinea pig for testing socks. I wear womens size 8.5 and buy no show socks to wear mostly with slip on Chuck Taylor sneakers.My main criteria for buying no show socks are that they have the silicone heel grip (the ones that don't have it don't stay on in my experience), that they fit my size 8.5 feet well and are made of a quality fabric that isn't thin, stiff or gets holes easily.Here's what I like and what I don't about these specific socks:- REALLY soft and comfortable! Most of the no show socks I have are really REALLY thin and not substantial/durable at all. That was not the case with these. Not only are the cushy and soft but they are breathable and prevent sweaty feet.- Fit really well, even after a wash cycle. As mentioned before I am a true size 8.5 and the medium fits great!- Come up higher on the top of the foot than most no show socks. Depending on the type of shoes you wear this may or may not be a drawback, but for me, I WANTED it. My slip on Chucks have the tag on the inside of the tongue and sometimes it can get uncomfortable or sweaty. I love that these socks come up higher than most to provide optimal comfort!- Silicone heel grip is perfect. It's hardly noticeable and yet keeps the socks right where they're supposed to be all day!- Seams are very minimal and aren't uncomfortable at all, even with snug shoes onThe only thing I would list as a negative for these socks is that they're specifically advertised to be worn with Chucks and yet they aren't completely no show with them (see my pictures) but close enough! Beyond that I have absolutely no complaints with these socks!Bambu vs OSABASA brand: Bambu come up higher on the top of the foot than the Osabasa brand socks (which stay up and are very "no show") but the Osabasa brand are made of a very thin material that isn't very comfortable and wears out much faster. Also the Osabasa brand runs small.Bambu vs Vero Monte: Vero Monte come up the highest on the foot all the way around of all the no show socks I've tried. They are the most soft and comfortable, stay put well and are packaged very nicely, but in the end they show too much for my liking. Maybe they'd work with other shoes, but not my Chucks (see my review of those to see pics).In the end, Bambu brand wins! I will be buying more of these socks and in different colors! Compared four pairs of no-show socks. All have the non-slip silicon in the heel area. I’m torn. But, unfortunately, so are my socks. This is truly the only no show sock I’ve found to wear with my Converse (or whatever else I need them for) that actually DO NOT slip!! I even bought a pair of Bombas no show socks and they slid right down into my shoe. For that, these socks are perfect. But, after just a few weeks, most of my socks have a hole in the toe. I hope this company changes the design of these just enough to make the toes stronger. At this point, I cannot keep searching. I think I may have no choice but to sew up holes and replace them as often as I can afford to. They really, really, really do not slip and that’s worth a lot!Edited to add - amazing customer service! This seems to be a great company that stands behind its products. I plan to continue buying these socks because they are the only ones I’ve found that don’t slip, I just hope that reinforced toes are coming soon!

I do like these. They are soft and don't move when they are on my feet. The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because they seem really small. I'm pretty sure I ordered the biggest size (7.5-10) and I'm a size 8. My big toe gets sore after wearing them for long periods of time because they are cramped. I wear them with my casual Steve Madden shoes, so they aren't on all day long. More room in the bigger size would be nice :) other than that, the quality feels really nice!UPDATE: the company has amazing customer service. Without me even asking, they contacted me and offered to send me another pair to try free of charge. I said sure and they came in today. I tried them on and they are definitely more roomy and the better size. They don't feel like they are pulling my toes backwards, which is how the first pair felt. Very very happy with these and so happy to see customer service that cares about its customers.

I wear a size 9 shoes and ordered a medium and they're perfect. I love the little gel strip on the back so they don't slide down. They're super soft and not too thin. They're perfect with my converse and my low cut vans.

I was planning to give these a socks a good review. Even though they are not no-show with my Vans and Sketcher walking shoes, they are comfortable and do not slip. However, my review is now one-star. These socks arrived October 10; today, November 28, I removed my shoe and there is a hole in the toe area of one of the socks. Since there were three pairs in the package, each pair has been worn only a few times. I was planning to order additional socks in black, but, I will definitely not order this brand again.

Though what I wrote previously is true, my original sense of betrayal has changed into unbelievable gratitude to this company. The customer happiness division of Bambu contacted me and gave me a full refund and another set of sox for me to try, totally unexpected, and it made me feel really happy that they actually cared about my experience of their product and wanted to make me happy. I have to say that they still are thin in the toe area, wish they would make it more durable since it wears out the fastest, but it's true that the sox do not slip and I've gone on several two hour urban hikes to test that part. (original review) Upon first day of use I was really excited, it fit and did not slip. Next time I wore them I noticed a worn spot that I would not expect to see until months of use on normal sox and I'm afraid the third time I wear them there will be a hole. For that I feel betrayed by this product. I hate to buy things that last a short time and it's not like these were cheap.

Not sure about these. I have had a set for less than 6 months, and while they have been very comfortable, they have almost all fallen apart! I have been wearing them with small holes for a few months, as they were still comfy but now the holes are so big there is no point. So they’re going in the bin. However, I’m tempted to buy again as I like the way they cover the top of your foot, not all trainer socks do. But feel like they should last longer than a couple of months. Especially as not that cheap, really!

Love these socks so I keep buying more! They fit nice and don’t slip under your foot like other trainer socks.My only complaint is that I’ve bought 3 packs of 6 pairs over the last couple of months - they wash so well that I seem to have none left. Where do they even go??? Sometimes I find them mixed in with other items and they wash nice and don’t go all hard and scrunchy like some cheap socks do - but I must have a sock eating monster in my washing machine as I lose too many. I am starting to believe Area 51 could be inside my washing machine

Excellent socks for trainers and shoes of similar style. Comfortable, not too thick and I feel that the skin of my feet can breathe. It has a silicone pad at the back of the heel, which you cannot feel when you put the socks on that keeps the socks in place. I no longer have the annoying problem of the socks slipping down and pooling beneath my feet in my shoes whilst walking. Good value for money and bought more in different colours. Only wish they have a version with less top cover - for boat shoes etc.

These socks are lovely - very snug fitting and they come well up the foot, which usually guarantees they'll stay up! Have searched literally years for some like this as all the neutral shoe liners tend to be of the thin, tights-material type meant to be worn with dress-shoes. Great for wearing with sneakers that have cut-outs so that it looks as if you actually have bare feet but without the damp, blister-inducing sweatiness!Will definitely be back for more but probably not for a long time as they're very well-made and seem as if they will last ages.

Great socks. Bought in a panic before a holiday. Bought the 3-5 and I'm a 5.5 and they fitted perfectly. Comfortable, soft and don't slide down. Wore them with my Skechers and my running shoes.
