Liteflex Silver Trekking Umbrella Silver

Umbrella Power!
These are popular on routes like the Pacific Crest Trail, tho most hikers unfortunately end up with the version branded by GoLite. I despise having logos on my gear, so it was nice to finally locate the exact same umbrella GoLite markets, but without any advertisements printed along the edge. Gram counters will also note that this is slightly heavier than advertised. The description notes 7 ounces, but my scale reads 7.96 ounces

Expensive but great for hiking!
For me this was worth every penny. It stood up in 40+mph winds without completely collapsing and is super light!

So far so good
Man, this thing is light. Pretty well made..fiberglass pole. Nice handle. No nonsense in that there are no little buttons to push or retract. Really nice air ventilated case with sling for carrying. Reflective outside and black inside. However it is not completely opaque. You CAN see the sun through it but not severely. Waterproofness..eh, I don't know yet. But I did buy it for sun protection. I'm thinking an application of NEVER-WET would do the job if there's any problem. If this lasts..it'll be the best Um I've EVER had.

same as golite just a tad smaller
Great umbrella looks to be same as the golite I have a black golite and when compared only difference I can find is that it's slightly smaller then my black golite and it weighs 7.9 oz while the black weighs 7.4 quality is the same only reason I gave 4 stars was that it's smaller still very pleased with it

Dont waste time with a dept store umbrella that will self destruct on the trail
Just what I was looking for. It appears to be the same as the Golite without the logo. Haven't had it in high winds yet, but it seems very well constructed.
