There are so many alternatives on offer it is a lottery as ti what you get, first choose the right size as many are so small as to be be useless, this one is a decent size and has had decent use from me for macro photography as well as eBay selling after a lockdown clear-out. This model looked better than most and is a basic but well made piece of kit suitable for serious photographers as well as eBay sellers. The two LED lamps are satisfactory but being lightweight have a tendency to fall over easily, they come with retractable feet and 3 foot leads so you might need an extension block. The camera stand is not much use for DSLRs but ok for small cameras and smartphones. The backgrounds are rigid enough to withstand creasing and come in a useful assortment of colours although I've only used the white and black ones so far. Being plastic they tend to reflect light and it was tricky to position the lamps to avoid this problem, matt finished lightweight cardboard would be an alternative but could easily crease so it is a compromise. My only grouch is the lack of a carry bag for the kit, which at this price point I would have expected.

I bought this product to help me take better pictures of my wargaming miniatures out of the box it was very easy to set up the enclosure is a very good size for the price, lightweight and appears reasonably well made, the addition of the different colour backgrounds is nice although I will most likely only use the white and black. The whole product folds down to a nice flat package so is great for storage. The lights that are included for the price aren’t too bad but led lights were supplied rather than the halogen ones advertised and these are certainly what lets the product down usually I would find LED lights fantastic but these are not very bright so I will probably have to replace them at some point they also come with very short power cables which could be problematic when finding places to put the light box

As an avid amateur photographer it has been extremely difficult during lockdown. Having this mini studio has meant me learning new skills and given me an outlet for my creativity. Many thanks.

This product is fabulous, fab quality, fab and prompt delivery, fab value for money. Anybody wanting to photograph their art and crafts etc on their website, Facebook page etc should have this kit. Buy it now before it’s too late!!!

AVOID Recieved didnt stay together and light was smashed and there was a slit in the material now i have to pay to return even though it is faulty

This product is very cheaply made, the quality isn’t good. The parts are ill fitting. I’d expect to pay £20 for this if I had handled it in a shop.
