Supremely comfortable; excellent sound.
Very comfortable over long periods, if sometimes a little warm owing to the flock padding.Very good and clear sound if not quite as analytic and spacious as my Bayer DT880s - but then I was wanted a more affordable pair for listening to MP3s and occasional gaming, so perfect for that.

Amazing comfort, amazing sound quality, fantastic choice.
Before buying these, I purchased SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC Wired, which were fairly good, however, the sound quality didn’t impress me very much. I decided to return the SteelSeries and purchase these. This was the much better choice of headphones. These headphones are so comfortable, they are very balanced (even more so with some slight EQ) and I would recommend these headphones very much for gaming, movie watching & music listening. This is a fantastic “do it all” headphone. As your average gamer/movie watcher/ YouTube viewer, these are fantastic and well worth the money.Side note: it does take the drivers a couple of hours to “break in” properly to get 100% of the headset. This should not put you off and this is a fantastic choice.

Superb
I wasn't expecting for this, so much fun to listen to music, is not a headphone, is an experience, sorry I am not audiophile, I just love good music, this headphone is open, is so different from the close ones, so much details, so open, the music sounds so good, I have an aurvana live which has bass, but the tygr has a different kind of bass, that is different, more impactful, the aurvanas now sound muddy, lol, I never write a review, I felt the need to share this after so many days researching for a open back headphones that does not cost my kidney, I know that in some songs the mid is recessed, but I don't care because in many others the details, the bass, sound is so good, I stopped trying to find the perfect headphones, I just want to enjoy this, and hope you can enjoy too :)By the way, I also play games, mostly Apex, rhis is also very good for this, everything sounds different in the game, I have as well a cloud alpha, and a corsair, but none sounds like this, maybe is not so good as the dt990 pro for listening footsteps, but I don't care, the ark stars just sounds so good, and I am not a pro either.is so funny for me that this is called a gaming headphones, because of that I just keep asking myself if should keep my infinity research for the best for music, but I don't want anymore, because the bass sounds so good with all the other elements of the music

had these for 3 years now
They are quite light, long lasting without a microphone at all, but if your getting these then you should know and already have a standalone mic, very comfortable and works really well

The perfect headphones, over 990, 900 pro x or veild senns
I did the mistake to sell my tygrs for an upgrade to 900 pro x.900 pro x are more clean, tighter an accurate. But my god, they are dull in comparison with the tygrs. The soundstage is smaller and also they have a 4k dip which makes the vocals sound a little weird.BUT THE TYGRS,my god..they are perfect..just pure enjoyment. I had them for 3 months and every time i putem on ..i said wow in my mind. That good.No peaks, siblance or anything like that.In a one sentence: it s like listening to hifi expensive speakers. This is the only headphone i had that does that. The only cans that come close is grado in terms of sound quality, but without this incredible zone/stage you are in when you listen the tygrs, but grados x models are a piece of uncomfortable crap.I think beyer made them too good(aka fun, wide, amazing) and in their german search for perfection they said the.re not analitical enough and made them "gaming". All i know is that nothing can touch them under 500. Maybe 1990..but their beyer peak is awful.Best purchase you will ever make. Forget any other headphone. The next step up maybe Focal Elegia..maybe

With EQ, perfect for casual music listening
I was looking for something for late night music listening - jazz acoustic mostly. Tried Grado SR80, SHP9500, HD560S, iBasso SR2, Hifiman HE400SE Deva Pro wired and Edition XS. Finally got these. Smooth, fast, natural, engaging, open. Liked them so much I got a 2nd pair for canjam sharing. Without EQ they sound a bit bright to me so I use a Qudelix 5k to add EQ. I just can’t get over how good these sound, even with other genres. Bargain. Since picked up DT770 Pro 80ohm for when I need a closed-back. Couldn’t be happier and my wallet is happy too.

Outstanding gaming headphones
Bought primarily for gaming (with some YouTube/film watching on the side) and they are GLORIOUS. They're my first jump into the beyerdynamic world, having previously owned multiple AudioTechnica, Sennheiser and Logitech headphones. The open soundstage is fantastic for shooters and there's plenty of detail. Furthermore they're one of the most comfortable headphones I've worn. As someone who wears glasses, clamping force is hugely important and the TYGR 300 R gets it just right. Not too tight that they cause discomfort against my glasses during long gaming sessions but not so light that they fly off my head at the slightest movement. Easily my favourite gaming headphones that I've used and they sound pretty good for watching films as well.

Not durable
Least durable brand of headsets out there, I mean it’s literally a thin bit of metal. Save yourself the money and get a cheaper headset.
