My wife is weird about stuff. She checked the ingredients and didn't find anything on her "oh hecks no" radar, so there's that.As others have said "the heck is tonka?" The smell is pleasant. Smells really sweet and kinda like wood. My wife swears it's "Sandlewood" but it's not labeled as such. (And I do have some Sandlewood stuff, but even straight from the bottle she swears she smells sandlewood.(According to some googling, it seems "Tonka" is not just a toy construction company, but also a "Tonka Bean" which is described as "a mix of sweet, spicy, nutty, herbaceous, and woody." Apparently this Cedar and Tonka combo is also in some candles.)Lemme just say, of all the beard oils I've messed with, I LOVE THIS PUMP TOP better than all the rest of them. Eye droppers are weird because you hold in one hand, dropper in the other, then you have to drop the oil in your hand and then... leave the bottle open or dump the oil trying to screw the top back on? Anyway, PUMP PUMP and I got my beard all nice and soft I don't appear to be breaking out in any rashes so sounds like a win to me.Highly recommend it.

The Beard Patrol's beard oil is a nice product and fits well with the line of products. The bottle is a pump bottle and is easy to dispense into my hand and then work into my beard. The oil leaves my beard soft and leaves a very minimal oily feel to my beard after use. I did not appreciate much of a scent but my wife felt it was too sweet and made my beard smell like frosting, which she did not like.Pros: Easy to dispense Easy to work into beardCons: Sweet scent my wife did not like

PROS: THE PUMP!CONS: Could absorb a bit better.OVERVIEW: I keep a collar length beard nearly year-round. This requires a whole morning regimen to keep it looking and feeling good. Beard oil has long been one of the items I use, in addition to balms, wax, and butters to tame the madness. This Beard Patrol offering is quite good. The scent is masculine with a bit of sweetness, very pleasing to me. The oil is a bit heavy, giving lots of shine to your beard. I don’t like feeling it in my beard after an hour or so and I could feel the oil all day long on first application. I find 1-2 pumps provides enough control without being overly heavy on my beard. The star of this product is the pump. Forget about eyedroppers and drip caps, pump action dispensers are where it’s at. Perfect for home use or on the go. Recommended product.RATING: 5 Stars

Beard oil is supposed to be just that,an oil.This product is a water base,with little to no oil mixture.

I have three brothers with beards, so I am always on the lookout for good grooming products to help them look their best.

I'm currently one year into my minoxidil and derma roller journey (iykyk). My beard area gets extremely dry and I have what essentially looks like dandruff falling onto the front of my shirt daily if I don't exfoliate and moisturize. I got this beard oil in hopes of alleviating that. Boy has it. I put two pumps into my hand and that's enough to cover me. It adds a noticeable shine to my face, but it's not in any way distracting. I scent is very subtle, so it won't be constantly reminding you that you have it on your face. To me personally, it's warm vanilla scent. I really like it. To top it all off, it has all but virtually eliminated the dry skin issue, and flakiness, from my face! I would highly recommend this to any man who wants to add to his beard. 10/10 would recommend.
