There's no doubt that this is a very gentle cleanser and great for sensitive and/or flared up skin. It doesn't burn, tingle, or cause any type of irritation. However, I'm not sure how great it actually is for breakouts because I didn't notice a huge difference in the amount of breakouts while using this.It does a great job of actually cleaning, as evidenced by the cotton ball used after cleansing (for toning). It also has some good ingredients that are known for helping with acne like Tea Tree Oil, Willow Bark, Oregano Oil, Rosemary, Red Clover, and Burdock Root. Some of these are also great for hormonal acne although I think they're more effective when taking internally.The cleanser is on the watery side but a little goes a long way since it has a nice little lather to it. It's a small bottle so if you are using it twice a day, it may not last that long. I only used it once a day (before bed) and used another cleanser in the morning.A free item was provided for evaluation and unbiased review.

My teenager found this product less harsh and more effective than any he has tried from the usual drug stores. His skin has improved greatly, and what a relief the product is gentle since it is used daily.

This face wash is strong but gentle! It effectively cleanses but is gentle enough for sensitive, dry, mature skin. I've got combination skin: sensitive and dry skin on most of my face, but a nose that tends to be oily with larger pores and--ugh--a propensity for blackheads. In just a week or so of use, my T-zone is noticeably clearer.Most cleansers and face washes that are effective for my oily T-zone are way too drying for the rest of my face. My skin is so sensitive that I've even avoided washing my face in order to prevent irritating it. One of Blemish Be Gone's main ingredients is aloe, and aloe feels very healing to my skin.I can use Blemish Be Gone every morning AND every night without experiencing dryness or irritation. It's got a light silky texture, and a subtle fresh scent that seems to come from the natural, organic herbal ingredients. I'm ecstatic to finally find a face-wash that really works for all of my skin issues--it's gentle, healing, but keeps the oily areas clean and clear.**I received a discount on this product in exchange for my honest review.**

Love this face wash !!! Light , deep cleaning w/o be harsh to skin . Great for teenagers & middle age persons .
