Not the greatest, not the worst.
This brand of matcha mixes well into water without much effort, but the flavor is underwhelming. I use it in matcha lattes and protein shakes, and I can rarely taste it until I add double the recommended portion. My taste buds have been fried by espresso over the years, so if you have a more sensitive palette, this could be ideal for you.

good bang for the buck
nice/ok/good quality matcha, a lot of it for your money; it isn't my absolute favorite, but the sheer amount you get for the price mitigates for it. #matchaofficianotto

The best of the best...matcha that is!
I love Matcha powder and I have to say that this is one of the best! I've had a couple in the past, but nothing compares to this one. I usually drink matcha as a healthy alternative to coffee. The texture was smooth, and the color was a vibrant green (a sign of excellent quality)! The taste was nothing too bitter, as some of the other ones I've had. Perfect for on the go if you want to mix with water, I've even mixed it with almond milk for a smoothie/shake and it's tasty. Overall, I'd recommend this organic matcha powder because it provides a ton of health benefits, gives the right amount of energy when you need it, and is just so dang tasty. This was provided at no cost in exchange for a full product review and an honest evaluation.

Finally, a 5 STAR Matcha!! (A 9 brand comparison review)
I am a matcha powder lover, enjoying at least one cup per day. With so many different matcha types, brands, and varieties, I have tried several different brands (9 to be exact) and have read up quite a bit on Matcha Internet research.And….FINALLY, I found my 5 star brand! Overall, this Natural Organic Food Matcha brand is excellent in my opinion. This brand is a brilliantly bright green, has a much more mild flavor, (not as much of a bitter taste), and provides a pretty good energy boost after drinking it. On top of all of that, what sets this brand apart from the others is the incredible blendability. No more 5 solid minutes of blending, and NO MORE POWDERY CHUNKS!I clearly love this Natural Organic Food Matcha Brand, but the remainder of this review contains a summary of Matcha research results in general, and a side-by-side comparison of all 9 Matcha powder brands I tried: Midori Spring; GreenHouse; Paleo Green; Jade Leaf; Matcha DNA; Legend Organic; ONE ORGANIC; uVernal brand; and this Natural Organic Food brand._____________MATCHA POWDER GRADES: Matcha powders are generally categorized by grade, either ceremonial or culinary/cooking.Ceremonial Grade- This is the highest, most premium and pure quality of Matcha powder, and therefore is usually more expensive than Culinary/Cooking grade Matcha. This Matcha is intended for whisking with water and drinking straight - as done in a traditional Japanese Matcha tea ceremony- and NOT meant for blending or mixing with any other ingredients. Ceremonial grade Matcha should be a smooth textured, fine powder with a bright, vibrant, rich green color. The recommended serving size is typically ½tsp, or 2 grams.Culinary/Cooking Grade – This Matcha is named for its purpose, cooking! Culinary/Cooking Matcha is great as an ingredient in recipes, and is NOT intended for straight drinking due to its characteristic bitter and potent flavor. Culinary/Cooking grade Matcha is not synonymous with low quality, and some brands can still be superior even with this classification. Higher quality Culinary/Cooking grade Matcha will still be fine in texture and green in color, though not quite as vivid as Ceremonial. Lower quality Culinary/Cooking grade Matcha will often appear tinted with brown or yellow coloring and the texture can be clumped or grainy. Culinary/Cooking grade Matcha is typically much less expensive than its ceremonial counterpart. The recommended serving size is also larger, usually 1-2tsp for mixing with a beverage, or 1-2tablespoons for baking/cooking._______________SUMMARY BREAKDOWN- The following is a summary breakdown of the 9 compared products:This Brand: Natural Organic Food MatchaGrade: Culinary (Surprisingly)Country of Origin: JapanCertified: USDA OrganicPrice Per Gram: $0.21 (Amazon Price at Time of Review)Recommended Serving: 1gIngredients: Organic Matcha Green TeaAdditional Notable Pro/Con Qualities:+ 100% satisfaction money back guarantee+ Nutrition Facts, Preparation Directions, serving size, Ingredient List & Components all clearly indicated on Product Package+ Mild Flavor (not bitter)+ Vibrant green color*****Brand: uVernal Organic Matcha (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KHXESLC?ref_=cm_rdp_product)Grade: Available in both Ceremonial and Culinary options on Amazon, but not indicated on the package.Country of Origin: Not indicated on the package.Certified: USDA Organic, Good Manufacturing Product, KosherPrice Per Gram: $0.18 (Amazon Price at Time of Review)Recommended Serving: 1tspIngredients: Not indicated on package (though listed as “100% PURE ORGANIC GREEN TEA POWDER” on Amazon product description)Additional Notable Pro/Con Qualities:+ 100% satisfaction money back guarantee- Nutrition Facts, Caffeine Content, & Ingredient List Not Indicated- Lacking Brewing/Preparation Directions on Product- Bitter flavor- Not the most vibrant green color*****Brand: PaleoCrazy Organic Matcha Japanese Tea (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B011M6BTFU?ref_=cm_rdp_product)Grade: Cooking (indicated as Cooking grade, yet provides directions for drinking it mixed with water straight).Country of Origin: JapanCertified: USDA OrganicPrice Per Gram: $0.20 (Amazon Price)Recommended Serving: 1tspIngredients: (organic*) green tea* powder (Questionable ingredient list- What do the asterisks signify, and why is the term “Matcha” missing?)Additional Notable Pro/Con Qualities:+ Excellent energy boosting results+ Quality, professional packaging+ Deep green color+ Mild flavor (less bitter than some other brands)- Nutrition facts not indicated- Caffeine content not indicated- Clumpy*****Brand: Midori Spring Organic Ceremonial Matcha - I was very disappointed in the quality of this matcha powder
I was very disappointed in the quality of this matcha powder. It was not the bright green matcha quality that I have found on Amazon elsewhere. The taste is dull and it seems to go bad if you do not drink it right away. The other matcha I have tried keeps longer and I can reheat if I don't finish it and it still tastes good. I bought this because of the size. It is not worth the price however and I'm going back to the smaller sized bag I found elsewhere. I would rather pay for higher quality.

Ok, not the best.
It's ok, but it is too mild and not taste much. Japanese macha has aroma & taste with hint of bitterness. It doesn't taste real. I will not buy this again.
