Excellent Pu-Ehr Loose Leaf Tea - Resealable Bag - Delicious Flavor - Very Fresh
I recently purchased a Pampered Chef Tea Steeper & Dispenser (see Great Lakes Chef on their website) and wanted a decent cup of Pu-Ehr tea. I purchased Pu-Ehr tea from our local health food store, only to discover that the tea leaves comprised about 60% of the content, with the remaining 40% being crushed to a fine dust, even finer than you would find in a tea bag! So I carefully researched the Fermentaholics Organic Pu-Ehr tea, and found this product far exceeded any expectations I would have for a mail-ordered product. The bag itself is aluminized, thick, and resealable. The tea within was of a generous quantity, smelled wonderful, and brewed into to beautiful, slightly sweet, smoky taste I am familiar with. This tea was still producing decent brew strength after the third pot of water! I highly recommend this product as a really good representation of Pu-Ehr tea. And I applaud the wonderful tea leaves (see photo above) and the decent product this company has produced!

Taste is great
This tea tastes great, flavorful, malty. It is VERY dark in color so warning for your teeth. The smell is very earthy as well. These things come with the territory and I will be buying again.

Trust Organic
I have been buying Pu-Erh tea from a source that I later found out to be from China. I have nothing against tea from China, BUT, as with most Chinese products, you really don't know what you are buying. If it is food products, it could be filled with herbicides or pesticides. They don't tell you. The Pu-Erh tea I was buying from China smelled like a "barnyard". So, I decided to change to Fermentiholics and was not disappointed. BECAUSE it is certified organic.
