Not defective just needs a little persistence on the one side!
Most review these as defective due to the one side not folding correctly..I had the same issue..HOWEVER it is just not corrugated enough on that side and I found that with a little persistence you can finally get it to fold where it is supposed to and lock into the slates..I love these boxes!

Hugh disappointment
What a disappointment on quality and performance. The sides do not lock in place even with a lot of pressure. It’s nearly impossible to use because of the sides pop open. I paid about $2.50/box and definitely not worth it.

Boxes are always perfect!
My husband and I have a small wood working business and make cutting boards for realtors. I use the boxes to display and pack our cutting boards in nicely. I have tried several different boxes with other companies on Amazon and they would show up with something wrong with them, from looking like they had been wet at one time, to the boxes missing tabs. After ordering from other company brands on Amazon and not having bunch luck with them, I tried this company’s brand and I have NEVER had an issue with these boxes. The die cuts have always been correct and they always look nice when I receive them. I will continue to order my boxes from this company going forward. I am on my third shipment from this company and every time they have been perfect.

Works okay for shipping. Does not fold well
These boxes are okay.. once taped and glued together they work fine for shipping. I mail wooden cutting boards and put these boxes in a polymailer so they seem to do fine during shipping.. But let me tell you these are the biggest pain in the rear to fold together. The scored lines are barely scored so the folds just fold wherever they please making the box weirdly shaped. Then no matter how many times I try to re-fold the sides, they NEVER stick down into the slots so the box doesn't stay open. I also do not have clamps big enough, so when I glue the sides together, I have to sit there and hold it together until the glue partially dries. For the price I would like a bit better quality.

Usually very good, last order was not
I've been using these boxes for awhile now and they have been really good - sturdy and easy to fold. However my last order arrived beat up, and they are very hard to fold - the scoring along the folds is almost non-existent on the sides. There are apparently some quality control issues.

Prefect size and strength
Packed up my mounted photo prints for an upcoming contest, the receiver said the box made it to them and the prints weren’t damaged.

Poor Quality
These boxes are awful, after fighting with one for 20 minutes, I was able to tape the side tabs and use the box. The tabs are not long enough to fit in the slots so the box does not stay together. I order many boxes on Amazon, various sizes and companies, these are the worst I've gotten so far. I am a one person business and value time and money and these are a waste of both.

Though the cardboard itself looks weak when folded the strength is there
The product is working out to our satisfaction. The one big dislike is when I was searching for all the costs involved your system automatically indicated purchased and I could not fine a way augment the order or cancel the order so I could make the necessary changes.
