The kids are amazed by it too.It fits the 30 eggs of medium size we normally buy and by taking the eggs from the bottom we are rotating them in the order we put them on so they don't go bad. When we remove an egg from the bottom the rest follow fast but we have not had any instances of eggs cracking off each other when taken from bottom or put on top. This was a worry when we bought this.There is a good weighted base to this that prevents it toppling over easily. However, it does not stick to a surface so it is worth keeping out of the way of children and animals. I'd even say it is a risk if a wayward arm knocked it hard.I feel this item is worth the money and the way it's presented has meant we are eating more eggs now. This may or may not be a positive to you but this had helped share out the meals it our house... I'm the scambled egg king now.

I have had two precious egg skelters, which have both been ‘OK’ but not brilliant because they took up too big a footprint on the worktop, or didn’t hold enough eggs. Then I spotted this (and a similar rival brand). I’m delighted with this one. It holds loads of large eggs, doesn’t mean or wobble as a couple of the reviews said, and I can’t see how any eggs can possibly fall off the bottom end as there is a metal bar stopping them (see my pics). It has a felt base that protects my oak worktop (metal can react and mark it), and it turns easily. Top item! 🥚

We are crazy about this egg holder. I wish we had found it years ago. Its brilliant, it easily holds over 30 good sized eggs. Our only problem is stopping the kids playing with it, everyone loves taking out an egg and watching them all roll into place! Everyone that comes to the house notices it and comments on it. It takes up hardly any space on the worktop too.The best thing is that the oldest eggs get used first, this can be an issue in other types of egg holders.

Choose this design as modern and didn't take up as much counter space as some. Some reviews suggested eggs roll off bottom - our hens various size eggs DON'T roll off. Really pleased with it

A simple answer to an hen and egg related problem.If you keep hens you will know what I mean.We want to use the oldest produced eggs first but it's difficult to keep track of which eggs are older and which eggs are newer.This product is the answer. You roll the eggs in gently from the top and take what you want to use from the bottom. Happy days!

Bought this item because I keep bantams and we want to use the eggs they produce oldest first. This is ideal and with bantams eggs being a lot smaller there is no problem with the eggs 'jumping out' at the bottom as other purchasers have reported. Should have bought this item a long time ago!

Finally decided to get an egg basket as was fed up of keeping them in the box, saw this and was converted! it looks great and is very handy for using the eggs as you buy them so you know which ones are going out of date first. I Love it!!

This is great fun but really very practical space saver. Not sure how long it will last but we love it. We buy free range eggs so they are all different sizes so sometimes the biggest eggs get stuck but you gently move them down and they’re fine. Don’t be tempted to load the empty spiral with eggs from the top as that would crack the eggs as they collided into each other but just removing one at a time from the bottom is absolutely fine. Looks a lot nicer than a stack of boxes. 😁
